if you unscrew the frame and pull it out,
you will also be pulling out the sockets because they are held in place by a metal frame adherent to that plastic frame. pulling them out will expose the wires behind, possibly electrocuting someone if one is not careful. shut the mains, to be safe.
personally, i do not think you have to replace that frame or the sockets.
have the faceplate changed. that is what doggie bit. sinasalpak lang yan. it just snaps in place.
you can have the entire socket assembly replaced. this includes the face plate, the sockets, and the metal frame that holds the sockets. this is the most expensive way, and it is also the most sigurado way that everything fits right. hey! it's not expensive at all, replacing the entire assembly. the labor due the electrician is more expensive than that. heh heh.
replacing the sockets from the frame requires some amount of skill, i.e., it gets better after your first one or two attempts.
but i do not think your current pair needs replacing. madumi lang sila.
what would i do?
i'd just replace the face plate that doggie bit. provided i can get the right one.
if i can't get the right one, i'd replace everything, for a perfect fit.
some assemblies have a face plate that is screwed down. this will be more difficult for doggie to get at, compared to the one that he bit, e.g., yung sinisikwat lang ng ipin niya.
metal models with screwed-in-place face plates are nice, if you can get one. they are more dog-proof than the plastic one you have.
