Kahit na baguhin yang name na yan, ang perception nga mga tao eh magaling ang mga taga Mapua as engineers. Kung mahusay din ang Mapua students sa ibang degree, only the students itself can prove themselves as worthy graduate of a multi-disciplinary university. They dont have to change the name para lang makilala sila. Saka kahit nga ang ibang University kahit multi-disciplinary, mas kilala pa din sila sa respective field nila.
