in honor of new year's...

we're not allowed to buy and set off fireworks in the US (at least not the fun kind) but i had the time of my life when i spent a new year's in the philippines with my cousins.

there was a big field behind their compound with a gravel footpath that went through it that led to the next neighborhood. the guy who owned the field raised cows, goats and chickens, so livestock peacefully coexisted with human traffic (or at least most of the time, you can probably see where this is going)

what we did on the 31st was to stick a 'lolo thunder' in the biggest, steamiest pile of cow **** that we could find, set a long fuse and light it when we saw someone coming down the path...then run like hell!

if we timed it right the poor passerby not only got the **** scared out of her, but also got covered in **** :evillaugh

yep, i am going straight to hell
