Sayang! Namatay bago mo maibenta?

Hindi namin siya binebenta before kasi maganda talaga.
Yung mga binenta namin is yung asawa niya (pink in color) at yung naging anak nila.
100 each baby haha. More than 120 babies nung nanganak pero yung iba namatay.

We still have 2 left here pero hindi gaano kalaki ulo, pero may hump.

Yup pwede mam, pero magaaway muna yan haha. Minsan may mamamatay haha.
Lampas 1 year narin pero may kaunting hump lang. Maliit nalang din kasi aquarium namin, binenta namin yung 90 gal after maubos lahat yung isda.

C4U... Being a fishkeeper.... thats what people who care for fish are callled.. is indeed a great hobby to while time away... yun lang it can be time consuming an meticulous.

Sa initial set up pa lang ng tank, you'll need many man (or woman) hours. There are many websites that deal with filtration/ lighting/ substrate (yung gravel and sand)/ plants etc.

However, sa FH, most of the set ups I see are bare, im not sure why, perhaps those that keep FH can better explain this. One of the important things that get missed out during the initial set up is water conditioning, where in beneficial bacteria is allowed to grow in the tank. Its not wise (even disastrous) to put a fish in new water immedietely even if you already put in anti-clorine.

It may also be good to get the initial tank set up right the first time instead of upgrading to a bigger and bigger tank as your fish grows and upgrading the filtration as well. I've learned my lesson on this strating from 15g to 30g and finally to my currrent set up of 100g.

On the topic of fish, specially FH being lucky.. I believe this is true... the position of the tank shuld be near the door or window.. it is beleived that the flowign water also brings good things(vibes/karma) into the home. Another quality of keeping fish I'm told is that it absorbs stress from members of the household so much so that they get sick.. instead of the houshold member getting sick.

I kept different cichlids (to which the FH belongs to) for a couple of years .... Now I keep turtles...

Yes it's better to get a large tank na. I plan to buy 50 gallons as shadow recommended. I have no idea of the size of that though?

I already have a place in mind for my future FH I have a fighting fish but I was told that it's not lucky. I've had it for more than 6 mos and it only eats the algae of the live plants is its aquarium. hehe.

My kind of fish - OC Kaya pala yung tank ng FH sa store na pinupuntahan ko walang kalaman laman. Akala ko neglected fish pero it looks so cute naman kasi ang laki ng kok,

Pricey a lil bit the most expensive Koi the wifey bought was arnd 23K ata chepest 500H

Low maintenance kung magpalit ako ng tubig 2x a month lang (50%)

Parang doggie din kapag tatambulin ko ung hagdan sbay sabe ng " here fishy fishy" lapitan na agad sila hehehe
