Do you think worth yung Fisher Paykel brand?..medyo pricy...specially those with stainless door...nasa 50K yung nakita ko sa mega..or get those GE na almost half the price ng Fisher...

Get the GE hehehehe. Sobrang mahal ng F&P, pero kung may budget ka nasa iyo na yan. Durability is not a question pero yung make mas maganda yung materials na ginamit sa F&P kesa sa GE.

If you can afford it then why not. If you value durability, there's a lot of cheaper brands in the market.

Why not? F&P is NZ made and you can be assured of its quality. I'll choose this brand if I can afford it. Samsung lang kaya ko so if it's w/in your budget, bili na.

i bought an F&P about two months ago coz my wife didn't want to settle for anything else all i can say is that build quality is very good and it looks like the thing is going to last really long. and i like how it looks - simple yet elegant. it is a bit more expensive than other brands, but as with most things, you get what you pay for.

afaik iisa ang distributor nyan la germania, fisher and paykel, GE dito sa philippines so after sales service i think would be at par

heads up lang the fisher and paykels here in the Philippines arent made in the land of kiwis. they are made in taiwan or singapore if i remembered correctly.

kung stoves pinaguusapan (hindi sure e :D ) try elba. im using one sa shop ko. no problems whatsoever with the 1 1/2 years of use

i'd rather buy japanese brands, a lot cheaper, with the same or better features. and i can easily buy a new one after less than 5 years, when newer models with better features become available.

assuming you are looking for a refrigerator
it really depends, are you sure that models you are comparing againts each other are on the same bracket; thus explaining the big price difference.
(you might be comparing a honda accord againts a toyota vios)
i saw a few higer model GE refrigereators at around +/- 80k some more than 100k try to look at build quality and capacity GE is a brand that i know most of us grew up with.

likewise with lagermania you can see their stovetops and ovens at sm appliance stores for around less than 15 k but if you drop by their showroom a basic gas convection oven would easily mark a 70k damage on your pocket


in regards to your question GE for me madami ka pang sukli but its your call...

Fisher Paykel ang ref namin..minsan na nasira..lintek!! halos 3 weeks bago dumating yung parts!! by order pa raw? 3 wks kami walang ref. (sakin nakalagay made in Australia?)..taiwan or singapore ba?

May distributor nga!(la germania)..di naman nag-iistock ng parts!

Yung GE na stainless door..wala rin kwenta! lumulubog yung mismong pinto ng ref..(nakita ko sa kumpare ko & yung isa sa kaibigan ko rin).

IMO, mag Samsung ka na lang sir. pero, minsan swertehan din ang pagbili ng appliances..

pero sabi sa akin nung sales agent dun sa SM Appliances yung FP daw yung
pinaka matipid sa lahat ng Ref...pinakamatipid daw sa kuryente..

the cheapest FP nasa 30k yata...around 13-16cu..eto yung hindi stainless door.... our GE last for 15yrs...kinalawang na lang yung pinto.. hehehe

Parts/component like the evaporator? Not sure kung evaporator tawag don, yun bang nagpapalamig is sourced from Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia or Brazil everything else is made in NZ or Australia. Not sure though if there's an agreement bet. F&P and other Co. to manufacture the product outside NZ/Australia.

I have a mini chest freezer fisher & paykel. Lampas na sa lahat ng mga warranty, with the longest one at 5 years. I got it 1999 pa. Not a single repair done. Matipid sa koryente. But I don't know with the refrigerator aspect. GE, don't get the side by side model. Ang sama ng quality, lakas pa sa koryente ang GE in general. Samsung and most korean made refrigerators have very low electricity consumption. Yan din ang problema sa matibay na models. Pag nasira, bihira din ang ready parts. Minalas lang siguro si Hens.

Yung mga stainless models, yung door lang ang stainless. Ang body pareho lang sa ibang model. Ang daya nila! Its just for looks. If you have the budget for the stainless, try to look at the samsung side by side door na mirrorized.
