Viaduct Rehabilitation Starts this Summer

Sa mga taga south at mga dumadaan sa South Superhighway uumpisahan na gawin ang viaduct.Construction starts around March and April this year according to Alabang Village Voice.
Traffic na naman ito.

Sabi sa Village voice "According to Benny Flores Technical Manager of MTD Capital Malaysian Firm they are currently constructing the detour to be used as an alternate route to ensure the comfort of motorists when the construction starts."

The viaduct is the bridge that links the northern part of the South Super Highway (Alabang-Nichols/C5) with the southern part of the South Super Highway (Alabang-Calamba). They've been delaying work on it for almost a decade now.

sure ba kayo na may budget pang natititira para dyan? last August 2005 pa unang nagpalabas ng memo na gagawin na yan...pero last sunday nabasa ko sa newspaper (manila bulletin) na nawawala daw ang pera para dyan kasama ang pag-rehab sa SLEX.

the only concern here are the big trucks and buses right?..meaning they will all go under the viaduct...traffic, traffic, traffic.

They're going to reinforce/rebuild it. Not sure how much of the original structure they'll retain.

Think weeks. They should start it as soon as school is out... it could take months to finish, given the awkward location they have to work with.

They should just build an alternate viaduct through StarMall. I don't think they'd object... it would give their used car display a lot of business. :lol:

yup sa tingin ko gagawin nila ay kala kalahati isang side muna then kabilang side sunod.Alam kong alternate route na gagawin nila yung malapit sa Belleviue kaso nung dumaan ako dun hindi pa nauumpisahan ayusin yun..
Kailangan na ulit bumili ng Alabang Hills na sticker.
Napakahirap ng gagawin nila malaking bridge yung aasyusin nila..
Pagnatapos na ito skyhigh na naman ang toll fee.
Sa tingin ko aabutin ng taon ang pagtapos nun.

hwag naman sana taon yung pagtapos. kahit weeks lang pwede na and hwag din sana tumagal ng more than a few months. the only other way to go to laguna is through cavite. ehehehehe. sobra din traffic dun and malayong ikutan yun. yikes.

dati august ang start nyan, may malaki pang banner ni GMA sa may filinvest exit, tinanggal nila before christmas...

kala-kalahati daw gagawin dyan then may alternate route sa loob ng filinvest/alabang

I'm not sure as to timeframe kasi the SLEX rehabilitation consists of three phases.

Ang alam ko is all three phases would be complete by Q3 or Q4 of 2007 (mid-late next year).

Di ko lang alam kung kailan matatapos ang phase 1 ng proyektong ito.

Nevertheless, I do hope it gets finished.

Giniba na yung park sa ilalim ng viaduct at inaayos na yung alternate route sa may bellevue.I think matatapos ito ng 2007..
