sounds more like brand loyalty. i'm like that too. if a certain brand offers me good value and performance i usually buy the brand again and again.
unfortunately not all brands offer good value. some rely on marketing tricks. i see lots of people fall for these marketing strategies. the human mind, after all, is quite easy to hack into

I only buy levi's jeans. No other jeans for me.
Wait, does that mean i'm brand conscious? Or i'm just loyal?

Brand-Conscious Definition from Financial Times Lexicon
Someone who is brand-conscious only likes to buy products made by certain famous companies.
you're probably just loyal. maybe coz levis fits you well, etc
the brand-conscious are all about the brandand wouldn't want to be seen with another brand (even if that other brand actually had higher quality). probably coz they fell too much for the brand's marketing tricks

I like branded things. Ano masama dun?
For example, I have plain shirts with no branding on them (3 for 1000 in Giordano lol) but I like wearing my RL shirts more. The RL shirts cost multiple times more than the plain shirts but I think it's worth it paying for the contrasting horse logo - it just makes a plain shirt look much nicer for me.
Anong problema dun? Pera ko naman yun. [emoji16]

January 8th, 2018 12:41 AM #110this time, "i got you there".
i'm only selectively brand-conscious.
all my clothes are either brand-less or low-end branded. our cars are mass-model toyotas.
only in my choice of my profession's equipment, am i "branded", and that is because of one practical reason: "it makes my practice easier."
heh heh.Last edited by dr. d; January 8th, 2018 at 12:49 AM.
