Yup. It's not as if they wanted to stay sa twin towers. The elevators were on fire and the stairways were blocked.

na-basa ko.
kags, matagal na yang "safety in high-rise during an earthquake" thing.
it's plastered all over the 'net.
whoever first wrote it, is probably retired or has already passed away by now.
but if you are right, i'll wait for the drop in prices, then buy a unit or two...
but i won't hold my breath.
you might be wrong. the twit-er might not be a high-rise mogul. he may very well be an ordinary post-er, just like you and me.
heh heh.

eh yun nga doc kasi highrise pag lumindol madami pa factors mangyari. Malaki chance pwede may sumabog magkasunog matrap. Eh paano kung tabi-tabi pa.
Kaya sa tingin ko alert jan sa makati and bgc for the next two weeks.
Dapat ito mga binay sila mag-ayos nyan. Hinayaan nila dikit-dikit no zoning.
So it will be very expensive to build a highrise pero it will be cheaper if disaster ever happens. And highrise only for work not residential.
Tagal bago marebuild yan.
Wala pa nga accurate para mapredict earthquake. Unless makausap ko in their langugae mga elephante, dolphins, crow

The building beside EAC is Medical Center Manila, a hospital. Back around 2011 or thereabouts, EAC started adding more floors to their existing building, that's why EAC is that tall today. The added floors have been in existence for not more than 8 years, as it was not there prior to 2011. At least, that's what I know of EAC's building history. Could it be the original foundation was not meant to handle that tall a building? Blame city hall for approving the vertical extensions.
older folks have experienced worse earthquakes kaya chill lang sila
naexperience ko ung 1990 luzon quake (i was in QC) yan ang malakas
yesterday's quake was nothing compared to that
Ako!
I know there will be aftershocks kasi 6 intensity yan eh, expect mga 1-2 weeks
Nun July 1990 daw, may major aftershock exactly one week after which led to people evacuating again sabi ng big bro ko nuon sa DLSU campus
And besides, na-witness nyo ba nangyari kagabi major red sa waze ang buong Ortigas, Edsa, cubao, valle, c5. I dont know why these millennials are panicking so much (nasa kalsada sila nagkwentuhan pa, dapat umalis nasila sa mga lugar na pwede sila bagsakan. Eh kaso lalo nag cause ng traffic) , so I had to check every position we had on the road kung may transformer sa electric outpost sa bumper to bumper traffic. If mag aftershock san tatakbo o kung tatakbo ka.
Ngaun naintindihan ko na kumbakit andyan ang China sa West Sea, madali sila makakasaklolo sa tin if ever mas matinde pa ang naranasan natin kahapon. china wants to replace the US as the police in our region. The so be it
