May 16th, 2013 03:13 PM #1Guys, tanong lang, i'll be in Subic over the weekend, and we might swing by Royal and PureGold. Meron bang mga items na wala sa Metro Manila, or cheaper? tia

My officemates usually look at the chocolates at Puregold na hindi mahanap sa S&R or in Manila.

The Puregold inside Clark is more "complete" than the one found in Subic. Other than what primo said on the candies, one can pretty much buy anything off the shelf in S&R, Rustans, or Landmark.
I miss those Meatplus Steaks ...

sa subic?
chocolates
liquor (it is cheaper there dahil hindi ito sakop ng sin tax law)
yosi (same as liquor)
canned goods.
yung iba halos pareho lang din ang price eh...

Nga pala, the prices in there are in USD, so unless you're really good in crunching numbers on a per item basis, you would know if it comes out cheaper or not. And they have the "in-house" conversion from USD to PHP.
AND .... be wary of the expiry dates on the items that you buy. I bought expired (and prominently displayed) Tabasco sauce inside Puregold Subic once.
