I only use my driving shoes on long drives. For work or any short drives, I just use regular sneakers. But here's what happened to mine after I've used them long enough for driving.

I prefer using my trusty Onitsuka for driving. I think any pair that has a snug fit and thin sole should be comfy para ramdam mo yung pedals. I tried other sneakers, nahirapan ako mag control at first.

Don't own a pair, but somehow i prefer wearing shoes with thinner soles...if only psychologically, i get more "feel" of the car that way.
Used to have one of those Adidas goodyear shoes. They had a rounded sole and thin soles. Lasted for 5 years before the soles gave way. Now keeping a pair of Sanuks in the trunk for driving.

Adidas dragon and good old tretorn shoes. Pero i prefer the adidas dragon kapag long drive.
Those Tretorn shoes have been around for quite some time now. My grandpa has those as his go to driving shoes.
As for me, thin soles are preferred too. I tried driving on thick mountaineering sandals as my sneaker got soaked. I think, I only lasted around 30kms until I decided to go barefoot for the rest of the trip as I wasn't sure if I was stepping on the right pedals. Would not recommend.![]()
As much as I could, gusto ko barefoot or naka socks. Daily to work I do this hehe sa office parking ako nagsusuot ng shoes.
Pero I bought this Onitsuka okay din ipang drive, kaso worry ko is gaya nung posted dito magugulpi yung heel nung right shoe.

I just use whatever shoes I'm wearing for the day.
When I'm out on field, I often use my Onitsukas, sometimes my suede loafers. When in bound for the office, leather shoes. To and from golf/badminton, slippers since it's just near.

Nothing in particular, kung ano lang suot ko at the moment I stepped in the vehicle.
As for long drives, Sketchers relaxed fit yung mas comfortable para sa kin.
I can drive in 4 in heels but I can't drive barefoot. It's as if the pedals feel to heavy to press on with bare feet.
Also that seems so inconvenient to have to wear shoes everytime you step out of the vehicle.
Pano pala kung may kasabay ka na iba? You still go barefoot. I find going barefoot kinda personal or intimate in a sense (naked feet)

If galing ako house I'll ride the car on my slippers then drive barefoot then mag shoes when I reach my destination.
If not from home ako manggaling, office or somewhere then short drive lang I no longer remove my shoes.
Minsan I came from home going to tagaytay for a business trip, may nakisabay saken na officemate dinaanan ko somewhere. Pagsakay niya paa ko agad napansin, uy naka apak ka din mag drive?
Apir kako! Hahaha
About slippers, yun ang delikado diba? Prone to sabit sa pedals?

A proper driving shoes yata is like this one, round hills at manipis. I mistakenly bought one by Puma Ferrari thinking it's a rubber shoes. Masakit ipangtakbo dahil nga manipis.

I prefer sneakers. Nice fit and the sides of the soles have almost no chance of getting snagged in the pedals.
I go shoeless (bare or socks) if what I'm wearing has thick soles (running shoes), too heavy (my steel toe office shoes), or too loose (slippers or Sanouk sandals).
I'm still looking for driving shoes by Fila. I had a pair years ago which I didn't know were for driving.
