    Uso na ba ito?

I've been encountering these one-handed drivers who use their right hand to steer, and the left arm hanging down over the driver side window, either with a cigarette or holding nothing. Tapos feeling F1 driver by swerving around traffic.

What's the reason for this kaya? :?:

Pinapakita ba nila na malaki ang braso nila?

Driving with one hand is probably ok for slow / cruising speeds, but what I cannot understand is how some of these drivers were able to STEER and SHIFT gears AT THE SAME TIME, USING ONE HAND, while zig-zagging around traffic, WITH THE LEFT ARM HANGGING OUT THE DOOR...

The latest I met was a driver of an Isuzu Elf... wow galing... :?

Hey man, at least they still have one hand on the steering wheel. I've seen drivers in traffic using their knees to steer their car! Talk about multi-tasking!

Me too, I also drive with one hand [left] on the wheel only. I use my right only mostly on making left turns, for right turns just to guide my left. Also at high speeds when the road has a curve to the right. I found it easier kasi to pull the wheel with the hand on which the curve is, either right or left. It gives smoother turns.

Ako rin, I steer mostly with one hand lang. My left is on the wheel and my right hand resting on the stick.

what's the big deal with driving with 1 hand, e kung power steering yun car eh.

most of the time i drive with only the left hand city driving kahit sa edsa or slex/nlex. my right hand most of the time is holding my wife's left hand e hehehe! automatic so di ko na need mag-shift. up to 80kph basta straight driving lang one hand driver lang ako. pag napagod left hand right hand naman.

i hold the wheel at the 6 o'clock position, patulak ang ikot ko ng manibela instead of the driving school lesson na pakabig. pag nasa 10 o'clock/2 o'clock position kasi pakabig yun, walang force. pag patulak may force so madali lang. remember 1 handed steering yan ha kaya it's at the 6 o'clock para pantay ang ikot whether turning left or right.

pag nag 90kph na ako or when weaving in and out of edsa then i do 2 hands na. o kaya naman pag nagalit si misis na 1 hand lang gamit ko kahit mabagal takbo yun tinatapon nya sa akin yun right hand ko hehehehe! obey ako syempre baka walang sugar at honey sa gabi e hehehe!

wala kayo sa big brother ko! one hand and one foot driving sya! manual tranny pa!

nakasalubong ko minsan sa highway, cruising sya, hindi naka-stop. me hawak na cigarette yung left hand, tapos nakapatong sa me aircon vents tabi ng door yung left foot!!!:mrgreen:

me, pareho ke yebo8, one hand at 6 o'clock position. pag napansin ni misis, two hands na. tapos balik one hand ulit!
