Does school really matter?

an informal study...
we noticed that many of our male medical school teachers, MDs, were married to nurses.
once we got into the hospital proper, we understood why.
for several years during training, all these doctor trainees saw, were patients, fellow doctors, and nurses.

data from online dating apps/sites show:

women date across or above their socio-economic level

men date across or below their socio-economic level

in other words women would date men who are richer / higher social status, or kasing-yaman / same social status

men would date women who are same level or poorer / lower social status

like you'll see male doctors marry female doctors or nurses

but it's rarer for female doctors to marry male nurses
