I think FB's algorithm is promoting influencers and companies more than individual users. I rarely see posts from my friends on my feed na. I confirmed na they don't show posts from friends on my feed because my office BFF posted photos of us and I did NOT see it on my feed and had to click on her profile. I think konti na rin talaga nag FB kasi those friends of mine that post often, thousands nga friends nila pero RARE umabot ng 100 likes. Usually less than 50. That's a really low %. I suspect kasi hindi nga lahat lumalabas sa feed ng iba.

Engagement on Instagram's Threads Has Cratered

Shortly after Meta’s new Twitter clone Threads hits 100 million users, analysts say that the app’s user engagement has precipitously dropped off.

NBC News reports that data from Sensor Tower and Similarweb indicates that the newly released social media platform from Meta has seen a drop off in attention from users. Sensor Tower Data suggests that on Tuesday and Wednesday, daily active users dropped 20% from Saturday while time spent on the platform fell 50% from 20 minutes to 10 minutes. Similarweb’s data reportedly paints a picture equally as grim as daily active users dropped 25% from a peak on July 7 to Monday, while time spent on the app dropped over 50% from 20 minutes to 8 minutes.

I have a FB friend, my former classmate who was really a b1tch and unlikeable. It shows in her FB kasi even when she got married very few people (less than 100) liked her posts e sure fire madaming likes - engagement, wedding, pregnancy announcement and new born.

On her birthday a pathetic 20+ liked her FB post Tama talaga nabasa ko na FB likes is all about how people feel about you. You could have the most beautiful or interesting photo/post but if a person doesn't like you he or she won't react to your post. It doesn't help pa na FB doesn't show individual posts much anymore, puro groups/ads/influencer na nasa feed.

The conversation goes na my friend says na alam niya wala ako IG so she showed me her post and I replied na yes wala ako IG and FB is my only social media account and my friends are telling me to join IG because most people on FB are squating na (Gen x term for jologs) and I think it's true kasi wala nga siya sa FB 🤣
