i carry a leather messenger bag or a knapsack to work. the messenger bag i personally designed and crafted at u-belt way back 2000. my daily carry is a sling wallet.

ok lang. but i find the open top part of some models, somewhat... awkward. puede kasing patungan nang basura (think, elementary and high school days. heh heh.)
but there are other brand choices, some more expensive, some less expensive. and the less expensive ones do not look that cheaply-built, naman.

personally,
what matters more for me, is the weight of the material i put inside it.

my current use was acquired from shoo-mart. cheap but not cheap.

i also have one that's about twice the size of the wallet, to decongest my bulging gluteus.
