For OB, I think it's best you contact Medicard (or check your booklet) kung san meron, talk to him/her and do your assesment.

If you need an OB marami akong tita, ninang, at lola na iyan ang trabaho.

I'm just wondering, hospitals don't ask for deposit or discuss the price for procedures etc kapag admitted? It's our first time kasi sa SLMC BGC and I am wondering why nobody asked for deposit or any kind of payment? My Mom said baka mabulaga tayo sa billing LOL

You can go to the accounting dept and ask for your running bill

doctor was talking to his team about a specific patient, they were discussing their options when 1 doctor reminded them na "limited funds" si patient. then they all went quiet...

Unlike if sa profile, medyo tagilid based on job/profession, they will find ways na under normal operations panganganak ng patiente.

In case of my wife (who's an OB), not true. Regardless of social status, as much as possible normal sana.

The initial deposit or insurance is still enough to cover payments ... when it runs low ... they're going to ask for more ... or ... the doctor / administrator has vouched for the patient ...

There are certainly doctors that are like that ... to maximize their time and also earnings ...

I'll do that tomorrow but shouldn't they be doing that even without request. Pati sa procedures we are not informed of the cost or if we agree. Basta test lang ng test

That's really sad. Anyway, first time namin SLMC kasi yun kakilala namin sa hospitals we used to go to have passed away na so we chose na lang here expecting nothing. My Mom is really impressed with the service. SUPER kind and accommodating. Nurses chat for at least 5 mins, and non stop asking for feedback. Even sa food they ask if happy and if you have requests. Then the head nurse will ask kung ok ba nurses. Every x mins there is a sort of feedback thing. Wala pa kilala yan, imagine how they treat may kakilala.

Kaya I always choose older and established doctors na di na masyado need ng pera hehe

We don't have HMO or insurance. I never paid a deposit. The only time payment was discussed was if cash or HMO and I signed cash. We don't have kakilala. Mom and I were laughing nga na if this is how they do cash patients e what if after discharge you say e wala ka pambayad [emoji23]

I asked the nurses sabi they will only inform you pag malaki na yung bill, e what's malaki? That's subjective

EDIT: I asked billing and they said it depends on the admitting officer or if they know that the stay will cost a lot talaga (probably based on the illness)
