They have a guest house sa tabi mismo ng house nila so dun kami gumagaw ang thesis. Nung day na yun, I have to go to their house ng before 7am kasi coding ako kaya magisa lang ako sa guest house nila nun kasi pumasok yung thesismate ko and yung isa imimeet niya sa school para sabay sila. So since maaga pa (6:30am), inaantok ako so I decided to sleep sa sofa. Anyway, when I decided to take a nap, luckily, I fell asleep. Tapos naalimpungatan ako, ang nagulat ako may babaeng nakatayo sa may malapit sa TV!!! Then I couldnt move!!! Ang hirap gumalaw, I tried to pray "Our Father" and "Hail Mary" pero hindi ko masabi. I saw her there standing, wala siyang face and floating. Sabi ng friend ko, since malakas daw 3rd eye ko (na until now hindi pa ako makapaniwala na meron ako), madaming personal problems and thesis, malakas daw hatak ko sa ganyan.

I read somewhere in the Bible about God expressly prohibiting Israelites consulting with the dead. It could only mean that a dead man's spirit could indeed be summoned!

Now if you knew a bit about the history of the hard-headed Israelites, you'd be surprised if nobody disobeyed that command. Almost on cue, some wiseguys thereafter consulted a medium to bring up the spirit of a prophet. They wanted to know something about the outcome of a battle. They were punished for this. But the thing is, a spirit was really summoned up!
Very limited lamang po ang Biblical reference patungkol dito. This is not what the Bible is all about, otherwise, it'll be just an old encyclopedia about ghosts.

Ancient Jews were also influenced by other customs, traditions and superstitious beliefs by the Sumerians, Babylonians, Greeks, etc. No wonder, some of them disobeyed God's command. Why God prohibited this? Simply because these spirits that these people are trying to contact or communicate with are in fact fallen angels or mga alipores ni Lucifer, masquerading as prophets, warriors, even relatives. God doesn't want people to be deceived or fall into this trap.
Another instance is mentioned in the New Testament where Jesus casts out evil spirits possesing people.!
The question is; bakit merong ganito? Simply because of our weaknesses as humans.
This is another command that God laid forth. Do not do magic. It could only mean that some people really had supernatural abilities and can do magic!
This is what happens to people trying to be like God. These abilities are not from Him. It is an abominable sin.
There is a book banned by the Catholic Church called the Book of Enoch which chronicled the war in heaven and the downfall of an army of disobedient angels. They had *** with pretty human females and produced offspring which could only be described by todays standards as abnormal, and that's an understatement. The bad angels also taught human beings all they know about the universe, magic and passed on their special powers and knowledge. Of course, those people were wiped out by the great flood where only Noah and a select few people and animals survived.

But what do you think happened to the bad angels? their offspring which have special powers? did God erase them for good? Or are they still around us? if they had an appearance, would you expect them to take on a resemblance according to how evil they were? if they had a place to live, where do you think God will allow them to live? did they evolve to become kapre, laman lupa, o engkanto with varying amount of powers?
The Book of Enoch was banned not just by the Catholic church but by almost all Christian denominations. Again simply because it doesn't teach people about godly living, instead, exposing us to more abominable acts. Now God doesn't want that to happen to His people, does He?

About a place to live, they certainly had a place... the bottomless pit. For further reference please read the Book of Revelation.
Those who does not believe in the Bible, all these mean nothing at all. Those who do, need not worry. The Messiah was clear about what to do with these supernatural beings, which is simply to ignore them. Instead be precocupied with the command to love God with all your heart, soul, strength, mind, and body and to love your neighbor as you love yourself.
You said it, bro. This is what all of us should do. There are things in this world that are already complicated enough for us to comprehend, let us not meddle in the spiritual realm.

The problem with the "current" Bible edition is that it has been edited by so many "scholarly" people in the past centuries that we (i.e. present-day people) have no choice but to get the version these scholars have edited for us. More like censorship. The catholic church has taken out so many things from the original scriptures in the pretext of keeping the flock under the doctrine of the Vatican. More like the Chinese government is controlling what the chinese people can see on the internet.

In the entire non-Bible recorded history, nobody in this planet has ever actually practiced AUTHENTIC magic. All of them are fake, mostly intended for entertainment or swindling purposes.

I wouldn't consider it as a problem, in fact it's a blessing. Ganito po kasi yun; try to imagine a book which was not sort of "censored" by these "scholars", ano po kaya ang kalalabasan ng mga Christians ngayon. With all the different books in the first century (even before Jesus' time), both godly and ungodly; do you think magkakaroon ng direction ang mga tao?

I agree with you about the Catholic church trying to control the people via Vatican rules, but how do you think Catholicism survived throughout the centuries? It's the same with the Muslims, tight control. Di po ako nagpe-preach, I'm just stating the facts.

    Sorry mga peeps, OT na.

Para makabawi, remember the place where Vandolph had an accident in Pangasinan? Halos lahat po ng na-involved in an accident one way or another in that area, they claim na may nakikita silang babaeng tumatawid na lang bigla.

My father saw it too years ago, when he passed by that place around past midnight, may tumawid nga raw na babae, buti na lang di sya nag-panic. But when he glanced back through his side mirror, dun sya kinilabutan dahil nakalutang daw sa kalsada yung babae, then she disappeared.

This is not actually out of topic, since the subject is "do you believe in ghost". The reason is because the Holy Scriptures are laden with so many mentions about ghosts, beings, supernaturals, and even the concept of reincarnation.... but as mentioned, many of them were stricken out of the present day Bible. The question: Why would scholars edit something that was penned by scripture writers and prophets who we know were "inspired by God" to write down the original text of the Scriptures?

This is also the reason why many people want to watch the "Director's Cut" of a movie, instead of the "Censor's Cut". Watching the "Director's Cut" will allow you to fully appreciate the original intention of the director in making the film.

The same way that if stories about ghosts and the supernatural have been censored by the Vatican, why did God inspire the original authors of the Good Book to write it down in the first place?.... only to be censored a thousand years later based on the "opinion" of "religious scholars"?

This is true. I always have "bangungot" when I was a kid. I would wake up and could not move. The first time this happened to me, I was not afraid but I was thinking (or imagining) then that a demon was siting on my head which was why I could not get up.

My brother, who always had these bangungots, advised me to move my fingers first. I did this the next time I had a bangungot and it worked. Slowly, I am able to move. So whenever I have a bangungot and I wake up and can't move, I just start wriggling my fingers and suddenly I can move again.

I got so used to this anymore that I don't feel afraid anymore. The time that this happened and when I woke up and I can't move, I checked my surroundings. I noticed that the position of the furniture in my room was different. And when I did my finger trick and woke up, I confirmed the position of the furniture was not what it was a while ago when I woke up not able to move. That was then I realized that what happens during this episodes is that you dream that you were dreaming and when you wake up, you are still in a dream and can't move. When you wriggle your fingers, this is when you finally wake up.

Just wanted to my experience on this matter.

In the dark ages from 4th-12th century AD, a series of military campaigns were organized by the popes to get rid of all infidels -> muslims, jews, barbarians, pagans. There were named 1st crusade to the tenth crusade. The crusaders also had a secondary role, they were witch hunters. They tortured/beheaded those who believe and practice in the supernatural. Even science at that time was considered witch magic. remember, the fictional character Merlin. He was considered a mystical wizard who did magic here and there but all of it turned out to be just plain advanced science.

During the campaign, there were some censored military records wherein the crusaders encountered a cult of humans that fed on human blood. They were not the fictional vampires that we see on movies today, but those who experimented on human blood to live longer lives. They can be compared to the cannibals of Africa and the headhunters of South Asia. These cannibals/blood feeders thought they would be invincible and would have superhuman strength. But they were wrong, they were no match against the swords/weapons of the Crusader Knights.

The only group of people that gave the crusades a hard time were the Muslims.

so perhaps, some of those "director's cut" got lost in the campaign. Either burned or destroyed by non-other than the crusaders themselves. They were not exactly what you might call holy warriors. They were barbaric in some sense, coz they tortured, sacked, burned, murdered, executed all those who are different or indifferent to the Catholic church.

so to think that there might be some conspiracy to hide the truth by Church people themselves may be half-true. But only bec. the Church reacted on desperate times demanding desperate measures. Evil was everywhere during that time.

Some archaeologists even believe that the early dark ages (4th century to 6th centure AD, 200 years) were really dark. There was no sun, perhaps a volcanic eruption that covered the entire hemisphere, similar to what made the Dinosaurs extinct. Plagues, destruction of agricultural crops, human behaviour influenced by the weather, unbalanced nature etc ... made people at that time crazy.

Yup... that is my personal theory too since nowhere in the Bible was there any mention of dead people haunting the living. Though there were references banning sorcery & mediums/spiritists... as a matter of fact, Saul was able to contact the dead Samuel through a medium and he was punished for this.

    Ghosts per se are nonexistent.

What we have are "evil spirits" that are trying to pass themselves off as dead people (by mimicking them), monsters (probably by possessing animals & even people) and what have you. In the NT, Jesus and the other Apostoles were constantly driving out evil spirits out of people.

first hand experience.tagal ko hindi nag popost kasi talagang takot na takot kami dito.at duwag talaga ako.natatakot ako whenever i recall what happenned here sa garahe namin 2 blocks away from our house.

STORY NUMBER 1: asawa ng yaya ko, umihi dun sa "nuno sa punso".after ilang oras, nangamatis ang itlog.hehehehe.wala namang makitang sakit ang mga doctor.so they interpreted it as "nanuno"

STORY NUMBER 2: naglalaba pinsan ko. bigla daw umilaw ang headlights ng patrol ko. so he had to make me go there and turn it off kasi nasakin yung susi.sabi ko grounded lang yan!

in connection with this, may baglagay ng baso sa ceiling fan nila.kaya pag bukas,,,ayun, basag ang baso.

my dad is a skeptic...pero sabi niya sakin...he's starting to believe na daw talaga....

do you believe in ghost?
