ill start my diving lessons on monday, first dive namin sa anilao.

is it advisable to buy my own wet suit? tsaka sporty swimsuit lang ba ang pwede isuot under the wetsuit?

used to do that before... layo ng anilao eh...

if you are planning to take diving seriously, then yes.. it is advisable to buy your own wet suit. but if you are just planning to just put it in a list of your hobbies, then no, i would not advise it..

second question, yes. sporty swimsuit lang talaga pwede... it can either be a two piece or a one piece suit...

if you don't mind borrowing what other ppol have worn, then don't buy your own wetsuit.
but, if you're in it for the long haul, then i suggest you get your own equipments. trust me, diving is really fun!

makikisingit ako ha....nagpa intro diving ako last june 12 sa batangas na enjoy ko naman im thinking of enrolling.....saan ba ok mag enrol....im from cavite pa....:D may malapit sana sa akin bf pque kaso sat n sunday daw ang sched ng lessons naghahanap ako sunday lang ang lessons :D

btw lola gretz bili ka ng disposable na sports cam....para dalhin mo while diving .....300-500 pesos lang naman sa suking photoshops para may momento ka sa diving mo :D

sheep: if i'm not mistaken, branch ng aquaventure yung sa bf pque. i can't think of any dive schools na malapit sa cavite. i guess yun na nga sa bf pque ang pinakamalapit.

gretz: ganyan talaga sa umpisa, magastos. pero think of it as an investment din dahil hindi ka naman magpapalit agad except lang kung tumaba o pumayat ka bigla

ako kasi unti unti sa pagbili ng equips hanggang ma-buo. basic equips mo ay wetsuit, mask, snorkel, & fins. saka na ung iba.

remember: divers do it deeper!

there are alot of nice places to dive in visayas, i tried diving in dumaguete...maganda dun, and be sure to dive na dme corals and mabato yung dagat..malaking bato...mas dme nice views under...

pinaka-malapit na dive site sa manila is anilao. i suggest you also dive at puerto galera dahil magaganda din dive sites dun.

swerte tayo dahil madami talagang magagandang dive sites sa 'pinas.

no, i don't belong to any dive group...
just like you, i took up diving 'coz it looked fun (and it is!).

i usually dive with friends and officemates. tapos, minsan may kasabay din na ibang divers kaya nakaka-meet din ng bagong friends.

sa scubaworld ghills ako nag-train kaya biased ako. you can also check diveshoppe sa qc and nautilus(?) sa pasay road.

pag marami ng divers dito sa tsikot, sana organize tayo ng fun dive he he.

btw, if you go whaleshark watching, you'll more likely go snorkelling instead of diving...

btw, How much it would cost for a diving lesson sa mga newbies? Alam ko kasi sa swimming pool muna then sa diving site as you go along...

my frnd dives in PLANET DIVE in anilao its a nice place un day trip 500 includes a lunch buffet and rental of equipments like fins mask w/ snorkle boots if available etc... the cottages are priced moderately and the food is great! if u want to go there contact "ACID" 0918-9299342... nag intro dive me last dec it was a great exp! my frnd told me that its better if u have ur own suit, booties, mask, fins (there are diff types of fins), they rent the tank they use and the "bc" not sure with the term but its the one that helps u float/sink while diving.... r u taking up scuba lessons na? my frnd trained it costs him around 10k-15k tapos now im not sure if there is a promo na only 8k.... i'll ask f u wnt =)
