    I heard the deepest trench is found in the Atlantic. will this also mean more and higher water inland, in case of tsunami? bad trip talaga to Pilipinas
    No, the deepest is in the Pacific, The marianas trench.

    yup... that the "only" major problem in extracting deep-sea minerals.

    how thick & what material should be used for a pipe is the question... what's the strongest material out there? titanium?

    Bingo.

    Unless we start up economically feasible hydrogen fusion, the cost of procuring deuterium from the ocean floor will definitely outweigh the benefits in using deuterium instead of regular water to create hydrogen fuel.

    I don't know. I have a feeling we'll get something from selling those deposits.

    Space shuttle and Space Rockets use Deuterium AFAIK.

    Aren't atomic powered rockets and spacecrafts outlawed internationally simply because of the possibility of an explosion during launch that would scatter radioactive debris over a large area?
