July 7th, 2016 07:51 PM #21sa wakas, good point. maasahan talaga kita fafa yebs.
the thing is we can never equate progress in the traffic to dashcams. traffic in Japan, Singapore and US have been progressive even before these things were invented. so I doubt this is a solution. IT only opens up new cans of worms.
not all people who own dashcams are good people. some are twisted too. I hope audiences keep this in mind before watching videos like these, and become biased na.

what if the van contains 4 armed men who just robbed a bank or robbed another VIP car. paktay ka na, and what we will witness is the footage of your dashcam seeing your car getting riddled with bullets.
syempre, ang unna isisipin ng mga yan, plainclothes police ka lol. ang luwag-luwag ng kalsada, makipag-head on ka

July 8th, 2016 01:32 PM #23Haha. Uso pa naman mga nagaala-Bruce Jenner ngayon.

Nice to know you care about other people's safety. For me having footage still helps. If there are cameras everywhere it will still discourage bad behavior.
The reason why there are still counterflowing idiots is the lack of deterrents. We can't count on law enforcement to always be there but we need to do anything we can (safely) to change the status quo. Otherwise these guys won't stop there. If they always get their way, the next time might be deadly for someone.

July 9th, 2016 11:14 PM #24para sa kin counterflowing is an art. it's all about the timing, you can use it well and you get to your destination faster.
now, i am not one of those who initiates counterflowing. recently, ive bedn trying to profiel counterflowers. and based from my observation counterflowers are secuirty people, pwede bodyguard ng pulitiko, pwdeeng bsnk security or off duty policemen. i have also have habit at looking at te plates of ocunterflowers, if it's not red govt plate, it starts with R or B or V, meaning surplus cars. most people who buy this are policemen,
now. it may seem that you're doing this country a favor if you head-on countrrflowers, but the risk outweights the camera lol. the very reason that a counterflower counterflowed is mataas na ang adrenalin nyan, coz ready sya makipag-sabayan sa opposite lane. so unless, your car is like ashton martin with cameras and missiles, talo ka talaga pag nagkaaberya, calculated risk are best but stupid risk. that's what im saying
now, yun naman pano na ang Pilipino, pano na ang bayan just like what Deakin says or these topgearph. i-proifle mo na din sila, if they really want to be of service ot the filipino people, eh di maghangad ka magkarun ng posisyun sa traffic managmentt. i heard this Deakin was offered a position sa MMDA, how come he diidnt tske it?

July 10th, 2016 09:59 AM #28Well I don't consider it an "art", but it could help traffic if implemented properly and safely by the authorities. In most areas the traffic flow is heavy only in one direction in the morning and the other direction in the afternoon. Allocating one lane in from the side with lighter traffic helps. In some cities around the world they use zipper lanes. They even have trucks that can quickly transfer those cement barriers to the other side that has lighter traffic. With MMDA's huge budget I think this is something worth considering in some areas.
Counterflowing without the blessing of the authorities should merit a ticket. Since practically no one is doing it I'm guessing the LGU's don't have the balls to spend political capital on discipline. There is only so much the private individual can do without getting some form of reprisal from these neanderthals.
This goes deeper than just traffic. You can experience people cutting in line while waiting for the elevator, in fast food queues, etc. Since most people are afraid of confontation it's become an accepted reality that people can cut into lines without getting into trouble. This is where the admin of the building/business should come in. If nobody permits this kind of behavior it will become obsolete and finally, decent, disciplined, good behavior will become the norm.

July 10th, 2016 01:15 PM #30do you think its a long shot to parade over the internet the car and plates of a counterflower? I mean if evefybody else is doing it, then social media will just be flooded with these footages every hour. say for example, the how is my driving and text to LTO or LTFRB, does it really work?
what I am focusing on is the payche of a driver with a dashcam. since he participated in online stone throwing of dashcam incident, bibile na din sya ng dashcam thinking that what he reveals will be as wffective as the first one,
by law of marginal utility, say for example coldstone worth P200 per cup, pero pag 3rd time mo na hindi na worth coz sawa ka na. and magnolia is cheaper in the grocery, ganun din sa social media, people will just nit view anymore, unless your dashcam footage is different like for example e other party bashed your hood or broke your window
that is exactly the case in what happened to the expedition nbi incident, the uploader knows na pareho lang naman i-upload nya like eveybody else so in-edit nya to have a tesser clip sa start,
this is why we cannot tolerate this behaviour becuase there twisted people out there. will it solve the ever plaguing problem cutting in lines of Filipinos. i doubt it. but it is now am agnet to exploitation and then an unfortunate incident
