Is Committing Suicide a Mortal Sin?

We may have problems tapos nothing happens then being with God is the last option, do you think, committing suicide is a mortal sin.

Since different religions have different beliefs, what is your opinion?

Let this thread be an inspiration sa mga kapatid natin may balak magpakamatay and to tell them na may solution sa kanilang mga problema

Lahat yan may reasons, its either for a good reason or a stupid one. If you are totally infirmed, a burden to your family both financially and psychologically... Pero if you'll do it because of petty things like someone left you or your parents wouldn't buy you a pony.

yun ang turo mortal sin daw, but no one really knows. wala pa naman bumalik na nag suicide at nag confirm na mortal sins nga

it's a mortal sin as per the teachings of the catholic religion.
however, nitong nag-suicide si angie reyes, they're singing a diferent tune already. ina-accept na raw ng simabahang catolico, at bine-bendisyunan na nila ang mga nagpapatiwakal. dati kasi rejected ng simabahan yan.

Don't even think about it! (Corrupt officials,- highly consider this option - but return the loot first, you can't bring them with you....)

kaya di na rin sila kapani-paniwala.... siguro malaki ang naibigay... o baka sabihin nila nagsisi kasi nagsisi muna bago nagpatiwakal... ayos din ano nauna muna pagsisi bago nagpatiwakal..

nawawala na kredibilidad nila...

Well in the end its still opinion... Sa mga Muslim nga diba mga suicide bombers are praised by radicals and JIHAD daw yun and they go to heaven as martyrs...
