i just find it a bit humorous that our thai bros and sis are using the three finger salute made famous by the movie franchise "the hunger games" as a sign of protest against the rock and roll king and the gov't. kung sabagay, dito nga fist bump ang symbol of loyalty sa hari-hari dito.

and i also appreciate their willingness to risk life and limb for democracy - something we used to hold near and dear.

^ from what i gather, the thais are not enamored w/ the lavish rock and roll lifestyle of their "new" king. and i think they see their sovereign ruler as an enabler of the authoritarian military rule of their prime minister w/c thereby ensures the monarchy's protection from the masses.

the thais are also pissed off that their king holds court in far away germany even though he engineered moves to gain control over various gov't institutions and also maneuvered to establish a direct line to the royal family's multi-billion $ holdings since his anointment 4 years ago.

South Tsikoteers, has anyone noticed if Dumaguete Sans Rival has a shop na in BF? My BFF asks me what I want from BF kasi when she goes there.

I already asked her to buy me Lola Nena's donuts which opened kinda recently in BF (been addicted to that for months e layo ng store sa QC) and she also buys my kimchi at Hana (malapit ata eto kay Egan). Not sure if I saw it somewhere na magkakaron ng dumaguete sans rival in BF. I love silvanas kasi, dati pwede sa bahay bumili (house of silvanas) pero hindi na ngayon

Lola Nena's? Sarap ng donuts nila, tastes very local. Yun triple cheese sobrang dami cheese so I like the classic. Sabi nga BFF ko sobra haba ng pila sa BF
