Clavel, the reason why these erstwhile moderators are NOT around anymore because the Rules of Tsikot leave no room for further interpretation: ADVERTISING IS NOT ALLOWED.

It is immodest, if not shameless, if they continue to censure people if they themselves cannot simply follow the rules that they enforce. Out of delicadeza, you should have followed suit. Why, tell me, the other incumbent moderators of Tsikot are not into advertisement as you do?

For the nth time you threatened to ban me. Why? Because I called your attention about the proscription on advertisement? You think you can terrorize me by this cheap shot? If you want to ban me for life, go ahead; but, would that make you a better person or moderator?

Long-time members here are not oblivious of your advertising. You are an enterprising moderator. It does not sit well to the nature of your office as a moderator.

I suggest the issue to be settled once and for all Paging our admins / moderators.

Reading the rules, specifically number 13 about advertisements, how will everyone interpret it ba?

If this will be cleared I'm sure Jack Hussain will stop raising it again and again Gray area kase eh? Since yes some threads pertains to personal businesses/interests.

Mods are mods, everyone look up to you guys, it reflects the board how you act and manage it.

No offense meant here. Again I'm hoping to hear from our beloved admins about this.

Just to give my input to one of the matters at hand (at least with the issue that i see): Clavs, as moderator i think you should just follow the rules black and white as this is your duty and lends further credibility to your position. I'm saying this as a former moderator on another site before and i know the headaches that come along with policing the ranks, and keeping credibility and a neutral position counts a lot.

Comparisons to the past actions and posts of others (moderator or otherwise) is just adding to the noise and is beside the point. If you want to promote or advertise, then pay the site to post your ads (even if others don't). Reputation and service will also pay-off as word of mouth based from experience and how people know you will be a better advertising point.
