Yun! Mismo.

Kapag may error or mis-charge eh mas madaling i-reklamo.

This thread is about the people who spend on things they can't afford.

:hysterical:

I don't think so. When I buy certain things that are higher end I expect that maintenance and upkeep will likewise be on the higher price range. I also expect better customer/after sales service.

Mismo.

More often, they don't know about this thing. Ang alam lang nila, meron silang means to get hold of what they want. To settle it is another story. Worse, this kind of people don't die early.

the question here lies that most of the items they purchase that they might not be able to afford is: is it necessary? if it is, you have no choice, if it makes money or is an investment it is okay. the problem with filipinos in general is that we, filipinos are very materialistic and showy to the extent that some women sell *** just to be able to purchase things of bling. flash seems to be more of importance than substance and dignity

basta ako, i only buy things in cash. kung walang cash, walang item.
so far, i've bought cars na cash basis lang.
i think the only loan i got is a housing loan, na matatapos na rin in three years.

    cathy mentioned revolving credit...

Americans used to make enough money to support their high standard of living

then wage growth stagnated in the 1980s so they had to go into debt to maintain their lifestyle

and it's been that way ever since

the US economy relies on debt-fuelled growth

the line in the chart should not have been interrupted

but it came to a point when there was so much debt people couldnt keep up payments

    peak debt in 2007/08

Of course, cash payment is good but it is better to have a credit card. If you don't have a credit card, it's either you don't have a bank account of your own or still living with your payrent's money.

I really understand if you were denied by a Credit Card company or has a previous bad experience on a CC usage, daddy/mommy didn't allowed it, insufficient balance, etc. For whatever reason, it might have touched your ego or feelings for you to say those kind words against me.

Also, debit card, ATM or cheque payment is as same as paying in cash so no need for further explanation and sharing your personal day-to-day transactions. I appreciate the effort.

I also really admire the courage of those people who prefer to carry bulk of cash in their wallets, load up their ATM with 6 to 7 digits currencies, signing cheques for payment, etc. for their monthly payment/dues on time in full, shopping, etc.

There are also people who don't know how to control their spendings that is why they prefer cash payment.

There are also people who don't know how to maximize CC usage like earning points, discounts and other freebies.

There are also people who don't know how to pay their CC dues in full and just pay the minimum fee.

So, again, I apologize to ClaNker if he was offended by my previous posts in this topic.

CC is still convenient lalo na sa items that are on installment basis.
pag me item ako na gustong bilhin kahit me available cash,
I still prefer using CC IF its on zero-percent interest naman.

just pay on time and don't incur additional charges. and also, don't
    max out your limit.

I have a car loan - i've seen it as a necessity for my family.
and its a car na i believe is not that expensive pero sulit ika nga.

di ko kayang kunin ng cash so I had to spread the payment for four years.
sayang yung interest pero i have other use for our cash.

Guilty of this nung kakagraduate ko lang, for a small paycheck gusto ko magkaron lahat ng gusto ko.

im so dying to have a credit card that time, lagi ako disapproved. Time comes nabigyan na ako siguro 4 cards ako meron that time

at first sige swipe lang, bili at kain kung saan saan. Then i got lost managing my finances. Thankfully na settle ko na lahat.

Now isa na lang card ginagamit ko. Hindi masama ang CC, at the end of the day nasa tao pa rin yan. DISIPLINA.

Weighing the pros and cons ng CC, for me mas malaki ang advantages ng may CC.

I'm not fond of carrying huge bills in my wallet/bag. Sa panahon ngayon nakakatakot.
