    HSBC calls it total relationship balance, they consolidate all your accounts (savings, current, time deposit, UITF).
    5000 maintaining for classic accounts and 100T for PowerVantage.

    HSBC! Citibank will dupe you. Kung ano ano lalabas sa statement mo. HSBC, all clean.

    i have CC both sa HSBC & citibank. di pa naman ako nagkaproblem sa both cards. pero mas ginagamit ko yung HSBC dahil 15K miles lang may free HK round trip ticket na via PAL. sa citibank cathay pacific, 25K miles ang HK nila.

    nag try din ako magpawaive ng annual fee sa citibank, hindi daw pwede, sagot ko, sige, papa-cancel ko nalang CC kung ayaw waive annual fee. sagot ba naman nung nasa phone, sige po, pakibayaran nalang po lahat ng naka paylite nyo

    sa HSBC nagpapawaive din ako ng annual fee, pero hindi daw pwede this year dahil nagavail daw ako ng promo nilang free TV. next year nalang daw.

    ang mga tumatawag kasi sa iyo eh mga third party na kumikita lang sa mga approved applications...bibigyan lang ng listahan ang mga iyan at tawag lang nang tawag ang mga iyan...

    HSBC also has marketing agencies...sa katunayan nag trabaho ako minsan sa mga isa sa mga ito...mahigpit ang HSBC mag approve ng CC compared with Citibank...

    ang labo din minsan maintindihan kung pano magapprove ng CC yang mga banks. meron mga taong kulang kulang sa requirements na na-approve. meron namang mga complete ang requirements na na-decline.

    Tama ka. Na deny ng HSBC ang Tita ko pero yung katulong niya approve pati yung nagtitinda ng kamote sa tabi ng gas station nila na approve.

    when i was in the US i had Citibank along with another bank and didn't really have any problems. but now that i'm back in Asia, Citibank is just a pain in the arse. daming charges talaga, nakakainis.

    now i don't use my citibank cc anymore and prefer hsbc.

    Where in Metro Manila can i open a savings acct with HSBC?
    BTW, what's the diff between current and savings acct?

    me HSBC branch sa Ortigas, Makati at sa may Airforce one yata as mentioned by one of the poster on this thread....hehehehe
