How "white" is the sand at anvaya? Like pico de loro and subic, i was disappointed when I saw the beach as I tend to compare it with my home town (cebu and negros).

The calm sea actually makes it very family-friendly. We were just chilling on the sand and in the water the entire afternoon until it got dark. Very relaxing. [emoji106]

Ah yes. You can chill and enjoy the calm waves. [emoji16]

But seriously the drive isn't that far. ~30 min away from Subic. Getting to Subic is so easy because of SCTEX.

Hahaha. 3 hrs normal driving for you must be 4 hrs for me. I have really bad astigmatism so I can't drive the highway at night kaya I am looking for a get away that is less than 2 hrs. It used to be Tagaytay but not anymore

Not white. Better than Pico or Subic, but still very far from Bora or Panglao. But the sand is fine and very nice to walk/run on.

You don't go to Anvaya for the beach alone. The vibe and facilities are what I really enjoy. Swimming pools, bike trails, yoga classes, gym, spa, badminton, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, arcade, library, gaming consoles, golf course, driving range, fish pond, jungle adventure, bar, restaurants, playgrounds, and so on.

bro sa tingin ko parang halos wala naman talaga ma-compare ang luzon mainland beaches sa mga dagat at baybayin sa visayas and mindanao. siguro sa bicolandia lang masabi mo may mga comparable sa visayas and mindanao shorelines

pagudpud sa ilocos norte sana pero kantilado naman. hehe you can't wade far from the shore that much

Nice! Which hotel do you recommend? Do I need membership to get in?

Agree. Alaminos/Bolinao, Pagudpud, and Sorsogon na siguro best beaches in Luzon but iba pa rin Visayas beaches.

    Pagudpud:

    Sorsogon:

    Mariveles:

    Bolinao:

Pero iba pa rin ang Boracay:

Re: karen davilla's exp, just my 2 cents, mahirap sa jcking horses. I consider myself intermediate level sa surfing pero nahirapan ako kasi hindi ako familiar sa jump off points.

And eto pa, puro corals yun kaya magagasgas at magagasgas ka talaga. Surf at your own risk. Can't blame siargao.

Pero what the trainer did was wrong. Walang proper accountability. And dapat LGU nila may proper first aid on stand by sa mga popular surf spots.

IIRC, may waiver kaming pinirmahan before.

175 lang yung halo-halo, if you're referring to the stand dun sa may beachfront.

That's the good thing about Anvaya - mura ng food. Most of their menu is in the 200-400 price range per plate.

Walang hotels inside Anvaya. Either you stay in the villas near the beach or the condo complex. Akala ko the condo was cheaper but when I saw the rates of the villas mas ok pala dun. Next time I'll try the villas since I've always stayed at the condos.

No need for membership but you need an endorsement from a member. [emoji4]

Fly 1:30 to surigao. Then 45 mins to 1 hr from surigao to gen. Luna port.

Alam ko may direct flights na cebpac and skyjet kaya rin siguro biglang dami.

That is the observation deck on cloud 9. I used to do yoga with 3 or 4 people there. Ngayon punong puno na.

    Ah yes. Sorry. My bad.

The villas are nice. Mas cozy compared sa condo.

Yes, endorsement lang and IIRC, may 1500 na consumable for day trip.

    Nakaka miss. Makabalik nga hehe

Are the shorelines of pico and subic covered with artificial white sand?

I'd like to go back to Anvaya and play their golf course. They became a bit strict the past year or so that you need a member to play alongside a guest on a weekend. Anvaya has one of the best golf courses in Southeast Asia.

Anvaya had artificial white sand, or white sand that came from another beach. Ngayon nawawala na yung white sand kaya gray na ang anvaya beach. Nice vibe sa anvaya since well-mannered most people [emoji51]
