I just woke up and it's raining pa (I hate rain)

I feel bad na in my fat lab's 10 yrs ngayon ko lang ata siya napalo, though very light lang ng rolled up piece of paper (3 pages) hahaha! I am so exhausted kasi and I think I fell asleep at 2 am (cooked until past 1 am) and then she woke me up from 2:30 am to 3:30 am and then again from 4:45 am to 6 am!

I have to give in to her demands because if I don't she will whine and bark NON STOP and I don't want to wake people up, naiiyak na nga ko kasi hilo na ko sa antok e makikipag fetch, tug of war tapos magpapa labas ng bedroom and run around the living room jumping on the couch tapos papalabas sa garage, so at 6 am I've had it at ni roll ko na yung papel at pinalo ko sa mouth once, ayun, nahiga at natulog then woke me up at 7 am (this time my second MOm is awake na so she could stay with her sa garden) I don't miss my 12 pm mass, gulat ako pag gising ko 2 pm na!

My Mom says paano na daw pag human baby na e sa fur baby pa lang kaya na ko i control LOL. I am too much of a spoiler daw

Press ctrl + shift + esc, then you will see the background process that is running, then you can click the CPU usage header to sort it from highest to lowest, then you'll see which one is using the CPU the most. You can then Google that process kung ano sya at anong app sya galing. Then decide if you can turn it off or uninstall it.

This is how I look for offending apps on my laptop, minsan yung app pa mismo ng lenovo yung nagpapabagal. Minsan yung bundled anti virus nung laptop.

Also ninja is right, recommended memory for windows is 8gb.

My personal laptop unfortunately gave up na from all the abuse lol. 4 years old

During windows update, nagshutdown mag-isa (been happening for a while na). tapos bootloop na ngayon.

Thinking of having it repaired nalang if kaya pa then hand down nalang sa kapatid for schoolworks. Clearly can't handle the abuse from my activities anymore (graphics, games, media, music recording). bili nalang ng bago (gastos na naman...)

Just have it fixed. Clean the internals of air obstruction, add memory card, install a new ssd, put in fresh thermal grease on the processor and clean the heatsink. That should still be okay.

Same with our cat, mga ganyang oras din, meow and kaskas sa bedroom door, 4am nang gigising na, alam nila this is my wife's wake up time. But di naman kami bad trip, sanay na.

Si Fat lab kasi December lang nag start matulog sa room ko DAILY (since she got sick na I thought I would lose her) Na discharge kasi siya kahit hindi pa 100% normal yung blood results, her doctor thought she would do better with me around her 24/7, true enough, after several repeat tests, nag all normal na in Feb Pero nasanay na sa room ko daily, before kasi pag umuulan or sobrang init lang siya natutulog sakin. There are days she would let me sleep tuloy tuloy pero may days na nangungulit.

One time pala, tuwang tuwa ako at pinatulog ako tuloy tuloy, pero pag tingin ko sa floor puno ng foam, sinira pala stuffed toys niya kaya "busy" HAHAHA

Nalaman ko through FB na most dogs pala ganyan, parang baby na nang gigising at ungodly hours, I didn't know na cats are that way also

You might find this shortcut useful.

If you have app shortcut on your taskbar, you can launch them by pressing win + 1, win + 2, and so on. That's from left to right. So I put the 1st few apps I use most often on the left most.

agree with this especially the SSD. i have a more than 4yr old office laptop and it felt so much faster after an SSD upgrade. boot up and app loading times were significantly cut. cost me less than 5k for the SSD

Pwede ko naman siguro palitan ng smallest capacity SSD ang HDD ko just to speed it up and then use the HDD as external storage na lang? Was planning this already but a technician told me that it needs registry edits daw, hindi daw pwede ung simpleng clone ng storage drives, ganun pa rin daw sa HDD ang behavior ng speed even if it's SSD na.

Just go for a fresh install. That way, clean slate ka na. SSD are a lot faster than HDD, 10x faster daw and less prone to tagtag damage

I agree with the fresh install, just back-up your files. I placed the old hdd in an enclosure and used it as an external back-up hdd.




If you really want to clone your drive, there are tutorials in youtube on how to go about it. tinamad na kc ako [emoji28]

Your laptop is i5, I bet it has 2 slots for hdd/ssd. Try to bring it to pc express and ask them it you have another slot for hard disk then buy from them. Also ask them if they can move your hdd to drive D and install a new ssd as drive C. Also ask them if they can move the windows OS from your hdd to the new ssd. They might ask you for additional charge for the service.

Pero make sure they can do all these before you buy.

The shutdowns might be caused by faulty battery. Replacing it might cost 2k to 3k. Yung sa bootloop naman, depending on the brand, there's a way to trigger the repair menu, then you can reinstall windows.

Your laptop seems powerful enough to do basic task, sayang kung hindi mo pa pagawa.

so I did a Reset and can open the laptop na. seems slower than usual, but didn't get to really tinker with it for a significant period. will test again later.

Anyway, when I restart it, a dual boot menu comes up, both with windows 10. is that okay? I can't find related stuff on the net lol
