    bring to optical.
many of these establishments do goodwill service for "minor" repair.
they will also tell you if it is a hopeless case.

many of today's so-called "glass" lenses, are actually plastic.
acetone is a no-no for many plastics.

Accdg to google, a 5-10 min exposure to alcohol should loosen it enough to be scraped. I also saw acetone and thought that it may be too strong for the lens coating.

Lumubo battery ng work laptop ko, hassle pumunta ng ofc to get it fixed or replaced. Tapos magpapile up work load ko. Pero pinaka concern ko yung docs ko sa desktop na hopefully marecover pa.

Hp? Nag global recall yun hp for a certain batch. We got new batteries.

Sa work namin I got double laptop protection. Sobrang nightmare when I lost so much files.

That reminds me I need to use cloud services

Ok naman yun akin. Recently dropped it on a sharp edge. Thankfully the 1layer protection helped decrease the impact lol. Meron 2mm dent but the motherboard and monitor still works. When it's in the padded work bag. I'm confident it won't die

Try the file history setting ng windows 10 next time. This will save a version of each documents/files/folder everytime you edit/change it, this happens automatically. All you need is a USB driver or flash drive connected to your laptop or if you have a network drive at home.

This helped me a lot especially when MS office files will get corrupted, I can go back to the date the file was working. In case you lose your laptop andon pa rin sa usb drive yung mga backup ng files mo.

Work laptop po, can't use external drives due to data privacy.

Anyway a colleague gave me an idea. When I go visit the office, I'll grab one of these keyboards with smartcard slots in them para makalog in ako sa laptop and save what I need to save.

Lumubo na kasi yung battery sumikip yung slot that I can't insert my smartcard anymore.

I like OneDrive a little more than Google Drive. Naguguluhan ako sa backing up process ni GD. Mas transparent for me yung kay OD. What I do is I save a local file nung nasa OD. Then yung local file ang ino-open ko and then bahala na si OD humabol sa pag-update online.

Problema lang kay OD is 5GB lang ang free niya. To add storage mas mahal naman siya compared kay GD. For less than 1k/year naka-15GB ka na kay GD.
