    I view "pantawid gutom" means you don't have a more proper choice. Kung ano ang meron. If there are more convenient and healthier food, why not. I bet you haven't heard of people na naguulam ng asin or patis or asukal.

    I meant with dr d kasi he said he eats bagoong with rice.

    We use the term pantawid gutom sa office pag may late lunch or late dinner kami at gutom na, we eat something that's enough not to get dizzy from hunger but not full. My usual pantawid gutom is nuts (peanuts or pistachio) or crackers, when I want something a little heavy, it's 711's siopao asado. Napapanood ko naman sa mga docus ung naguulam ng asin, patis or asukal, may iba nga kape pinapainom sa sanggol

    these are mixed with the rice by poor folks, to stave off hunger pangs. they have little nutritive value.

    coffee depresses hunger. i use it for my personal weight loss program.

    dr d hindi ba sumasakit ulo ng wife niyo kakasaway sa inyo when you eat unhealthy?

    I only eat chicharon with rice when it's topped sa mongo. It's also nice sa pansit. I love chicharon carcar, finished almost a small pack, talagang nahilo ako and I was a peak health when that happened pa haha

    dr cutie told me that also. I miss him I noticed na doctors are kinda extreme, either super disciplined with food like Dr APS or eats whatever like dr d May isa pa kaming doctor family friend, he loves steaks and bacon and even recommended to me where to buy and then I said that's really sinful and he said may *brand of medicine* naman

    Give this a try. Next time you have pork sinigang, before puting anything on the plate get a teaspoonful of sauteed bagoong. Then put your rice over it and mix thoroughly. Now place your pork sinigang on the plate and eat away. So now instead of the usual patis for the sinigang, it's the saltiness of the bagoong that will enhance the flavor or the meal

    Actually, kare kare is only good because of the bagoong, or as with any other pinoy sinabawan dish, it's a choice between patis or bagoong, salt is a great flavor enhancer. Too bad for me, it's a choice between flavorful food or gout [emoji24]

    It's that time of year na naman. Fire extinguisher sales agent visited the office today. Misrepresented herself and nananakot pa, sabi sa tao ko taga BFP daw. Asked to inspect our fire extinguishers. Bili daw kami sa kanya kasi 2 of our 8 fire extinguishers were expired. E ang required lang sa amin is 6.

    When I asked about her credentials bumait bigla. Bili na lang daw pag kelangan na. People will do anything to make a buck these days.

    Ang Thailand may ganyang klaseng rice. May version kasi sila ng bagoong, shrim padte tawag nila. Masarap din.
