November 16th, 2015 06:01 AM #11Thanks guys, all inputs are really appreciated.
Ang reason kasi sana:
1. it might add value sa bahay pag time to sell;
2. the nephews/niece can use it as well when visiting;
3. yung panahon sa atin sobra init, so rather than go out malling, mag swimming na lang;
Pero based sa mga sinabi nyo, parang hindi nga practical, akala ko once a month lang maintenance at yun eh palit tubig at lagay lang ng chlorine to sanitize? Di po ba ganon lang yun, the simplest maintenance that I can do?

You can do with changing water even for half a year basta daily ang filtration dumatakbo at twice a week vacuum & chemicals ( chlorine & acids). If you can do it your self, even cheaper than renting someone to do it as all you have to buy are the chemicals. The most expensive part will be the filtration dahil electric motor and overall change of water once every week, monthly , half a year or quarterly or yearly even. The frequency will depend on population of usage, water ph. If just a few ang gagamit basically family use, the longer you can make use of the water.
The practicality side is for you to decide and i'm talking through experience here. I got 2 pools.

November 17th, 2015 08:08 PM #15To those saying na white elephant yun pool well it depends on what stage in your life you're in. When I was in HS and early part of college utilized yun pool, but yun brother ko nightout and beach outing ang trip nya so di nya nagagamit. Now naman ako naman ang di gumamit. But brother's kids naman ang gumagamit, natuwa naman parents ko seeing their apos learning how to swim and playing around.

Your saving will be electricity cost & chemicals + less labor. So say in 12 months , use mo lang cya ng 2 months & say 1.5K/mo cost , so your only looking at 3K total not to include water cost.
Ang added cost mo lang is the construction to enclose it and the only saving is almost zero ang evaporation rate ng tubig + sunblock.
