I've been trying to look for local websites on this. If you guys know of any, please post up.

I myself have a hobby of collecting die-cast 1:18 cars. I also have some models which I don't like anymore, so I'm planning on selling them sana. I've posted in several sites already, but no one seems interested, which is why I'm trying to look for a forum concentrating on model cars.

    Thanks

    Burago?

I mention Burago because they seem to be getting rarer lately.

i used to collect diecast but man this is a very expensive hobby kaya rest muna ko for now.im collecting hotwheels f1 and soon maybe minichamps f1 din.

based on my net research its better to narrow down your collection to a specific line/brand. ex muscle cars, or all porsche models released by brand a, or evo 1-8. depends on what u want.

That's true. I have some Burago and Maisto 1:18 scale cars. I think I have Burago supercars while I have Maisto V-8 musclecars. I have a red Dodge Viper, burgundy Jaguar CJ220, pink Barracuda, and a red Cougar stored at my uncle's house.

It's like scale models. For aircraft, I like 1:48th scale late model USN and IJN/IJA WW2 fighter aircraft.

There are some cars that are made both by Maisto or Bburago. I normally choose which one is better. For example, my 1st Gen Dodge Viper is Bburago and its successor is Maisto.

My recent purchase is an orange Nissan 350Z, also by Maisto. I stopped collecting for a while because of budget constraints. But I hope I can add to my collection again soon.

I am. Halong die-cast at plastic. Yep, medyo nagiging rare ang Burago these days. Yung last purchase ko ng Burago die cast (1:18 Lamborghini Countach Quatrovalvole) eh sa Duty Free pa last year. Mas marami ako nakikita ngayon Maisto.

Personally, mas type ko plastic eh - challenging kasi: ia-assemble pa then paint. The painting part is the fun part for me.

May nakita ako minsan 'dun sa Uncle Johnny's Hobby Shop na Burago (1:24 De Tomaso Pantera). Kasi, 'nung binalikan ko kinabukasan para bilhin eh wala na. Sayang.

me me me!! i have about 20. mostly bburago, but also have some maisto and hotwheels. i prefer not to buy auto art because it's so much more expensive and i really cant see the differences.

i have about 30 models, but haven't bought anything new for about a year. when i start this hobby again, i think i'll try to collect every available model of ferrari. i already have about 10 of them.
