I had a friend who's into odds from the NBA. His bets started from as low as 1,000php to 10,000php on simultaneous games. MAbilis talaga lumaki yan. Sometimes butaw lahat. Sometimes panalo lahat.

When my brother started putting money into odds I told him he's just throwing away his money. (no offense everyone)

Nasa parenting iyan. Tsinoy kami pero lahat kami sa family no smoke, no hard liquor, no drugs, and no gambling even today. Habang bata pa kami, bawal ang mga baraha or any gambling equipment sa bahay.

Pero that was many many moons ago. Ngayon, mukhang iba na ang world ng pinoy teenagers. Nabubuntis na sa highschool, chain smokers, lasheng sa weekends, hindi na uso "po" "opo", shabu, and gambling are common if you look for it.

hmmm, my aunt and uncle used to invite friends over for mahjong...pero to them kasi it's more of a social thing. on the other hand, i do hear some stories about moms/dads getting hooked on it

Moderation siguro ang sagot sa anumang sugal. Pero sa mahjong problema na din siguro yung magkasakit ka sa kidney.
