Never, ever give out any information to strangers these days. Remember the saying, "If it's too good to be true, it probably is."

You should have asked their contact info first then tell them you will call them back. That way you can still track them down, or if you have the cell number post it here so people will know whom to avoid.

Uls has a good point, however, they can also sell or give your information to "the others" who want more than just information. Keep an extra eye out at night or early mornings, be more vigilant and see if they will do anything. You never know, at least you're prepared.
