So ang tanong, ano makukuha nila sa name and address? Iniisip ko, pwede sila mag apply ng credit card using my name and address tapos phone number nila ang gamit.

Hmm....daming theoretical possibilities eh: from actual sim delivery to casing of your house by a syndicate.

medyo OT but I was just reminded of the recent NSO survey from where they conduct house to house interviews and they all got our personal data of all members of the family . . .

It is really now hard to give information on anyone you don't even know in this age of information technology.

Kainis nga e... I don't even need a globe sim, balak ko din ipamigay, ewan ko ba kung bakit for some reason e naisipan kong patulan yung offer na yun.

    They are harvesting personal info.

full name, landline, address etc ang habol nila.

Expect more telemarketers to call u. From credit cards to personal loans to hotel memberships to insurance...

yan ang lifeblood ng business nila e...

Name, address and telephone no? this is only my guess... they might access your telephone line for international calls.

    di naman siguro.

Thousands of businesses have their addresses and landlines advertised in the yellow pages and websites. If it was that risky, nobody would advertise.

It's like people knowing ur savings account number. They can't do anything to the account. They can only deposit money into it.

The telemarketers just put u in their database. potential customer ka. That's it.

They can also sell the database to other telemarketing firms.

Ano pwede mangyari?
