my office mate here, spent almost the same... that is for civil annulments.
balita ko gagasta ka rin daw ng mga 50k sa church annulment eh.
ang fafa ungas is right. you need a lawyer to do that. its a civil proceeding, so you have to be legally represented.
your last question is yes... because you were legally married, with contracts and all. lalo na yan if the contracts were filed, then you need to do annulment for that...

Seriously, you will have no other choice but to wait 10 years before filing your case. You will have to prove that you are not living together or seeing each other for the past 10 years or so. Which will be used against him or her in your defense.

May 26th, 2004 03:17 PM #28kung may anak kayo at maliit pa sila isipin mo muna ng 100x kung gusto mo mag pa annul. IMO, yung mga anak ang nag suffer kapag may naghihiwalay. kawawa yung mga bata.
ang usual alibi is phsychological incapacity pero mahigpit na ngayon kelangan prove mo talaga na yung partner mo ay ganyan...hindi nya kayang gawin yung mga marital duties and responsibilities nya. Dito yung masasakit na parte sa buhay mo at masasakit na salita heheheh
tama sila pa annul mo yung civil tapos yung church din kung kasal kayo.
sa attorney's fees madugo yan kasi nga may appearance fee yan kung tuloy yung hering o na postpone bayad ka..
pag hindi ata ma locate yung partner mo o hindi sya makita dun sa last known address nya yung summon babalik ng nagdala at sasabihin sa judge na unserved pero tuloy pa din yung procedure.
