Boat shoes ba tawag dyan? During 90s tawag namin dyan eh top sider or sea sider. Although I don't know the difference between top and sea.

just like frigid-aire = refrigerator,
"topsider" brand shoes = boat shoes. for boaters.

"seasider."
because someone already beat them to "top sider".
tongue against inner cheek.

we couldn't afford the original, but local manufacturers came up with more affordable alternative.

as an aside, crocs were also originally designed for boat wear.

Kaya lang parang toothpaste, ang boat shoes naging topsider ang tawag. . pabili nga ng colgate, yung close up hehe

Sperry topsider is my staple since college days, good for friday attire and weekend.

My Redwings came with tan and gold taslan laces. The ones that they have right now are waxed laces that came from my other boots. These 875 moc toe boots are the same boots that Gosling wore at The Gray Man movie.
