I like the nubucks better, really premium looking. And those white stitches...

Can't help but notice, not alot of crease marks yet. Did you take those pictures before breaking your shoes in?

    Thank you.

That was a while ago but most likely, grey trousers, grey socks, white shirt and a navy sport coat with a black strapped dress watch and of course a black belt. I'm usually dressed conservatively during the work week. Almost everything in my wardrobe are in five colours to make it easy to mix and match - white, black, grey, blue and beige.

For some odd reason, they don't crease much. I do put trees in them straight away as soon as they leave my feet.

Closest is HK man. I remember there was a guy who used to bring them in on a per order basis but with shoes, it's always better to try them on.

Singapore doesn't have a lot of choices for good footwear. You can try Ed Et al edetal.sg | Services - They have a MTO service and they have classic designs too. What's good about them is they're not priced high.

    Takashimaya also has Loake.

If you want work boots, you might be better off going to Thailand where you can get Wolverine 1000 mile boots over at Siam Paragon. I was just in Thailand and had a look over the weekend and they have a good selection there.

In HK, there's a shop close to Kimberley street on the Kowloon side that has a good selection of Red Wings.

If you want to check what's available here, the Ronnie Fieg line from Sebago uses Horween leather. I think they're on sale right now since they don't sell well here.

Oddly enough, local shoe maker Rusty Lopez produced a shoe that looks like a Red Wing work boot last year.

Nice! I'll be in Thailand end of the month. Will check out Siam Paragon. How are their prices compared to US?

They're roughly 20-30% more expensive than the US but they were having a sale when I was there.

I had 3 pairs of nubuck shoes & had success maintaining only the last pair. The trick is to treat the shoes once you get them out of the box by spraying it with 3M fabric protector. After wearing them, brush lightly to get dirt out then spray again. Since they are hard to maintain, I don't buy them anymore. I like natural, full grain leather better.
