Eh dati from Jordan 1-7 nalalaspag lang sa basketball and it cost 2.5k na then. Or was it 1.5k. I remember nag cut class ako to get the Jordan 5. But we use Nike basketball shoes for....what do you know basketball. [emoji16]

Next year I might retire a pair of 8 or 9 y-o Rockports. Still deciding what to get. Im longing to buy DMs out of sentiment but the bulky designs I see at this time dont suit me so it'll be a toss up between another pair of Rockports or Cole Haans perhaps.

i have a beef against the local hush puppies that i buy.. several models...
after a year or two, the rubber would crumble.. after a few weeks or months, the shoes would be completely un-wearable. the rubber soles were turning to dust.

compare this to rockport.. upod na.. ok pang suutin..

I had Rockport thong sandals that I wore until it fell apart. Unfortunately for me it happened at the mall and the staff at True value (bless him) repaired my slippers enough for me to make it to the parking lot. That was the only pair of black sandals I owned and used often for so many years. I would buy one if they came out with that design again.

but for a change, i tried hush puppies.
and that is what i found out.
balik rockport na naman.

but recently, i discovered merrell.. non-office shoes.

Fan ako ng classic sneakers - chucks, jack purcell, vans authentics, adidas samba, puma suede, nike pegasus etc lahat yan at one point nung bata at teens nagkaroon ako.

Merrell,- I remember wearing a pair a couple of years ago in a theme park, with the family.... It was raining quite hard... Lahat sila basa ang paa,- ako,- tuyo pa rin...

Same experience with hush puppies. Mas matagal lang bago nasira yun sakin. After 2 years pa. Ganun mnga, para syang nadudurog. But I like hp styling kaya I bought a replacement. They have a waterproof line of products. Mas mukhang solid yun rubber nya.

I like Adidas Samba. I still have a pair. Bought it some years back. But I seldomly use it. I just like looking at it.

Lately been wearing lacoste and sperry sneakers. Maganda ang feet sa paa ko. Ang ayaw ko lang sa lacoste, di ganun kaganda ang grip nya. Almost slipped once sa mall, hehehe.

Ang ayoko lang sa samba, I mean ung original design, e ang tigas sa paa! So same tayo diko masyadong sinusuot lalo na pag lakaran ang labanan.

I agree with sperry. Pagka bili ko ng boat shoes comfortable talaga. Pero mejo worn out ung style na binili ko kaya extra supple ang leather. Sad to say made in china na din sila.

Never owned a cortez. More likely, could afford when I was young. I think I can afford it now pero di pa rin ako bibili, mukang di na babagay sa age ko [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16]
