    Preventable? Caused by sewage lines? Bah. Chalk one up to mother nature I say.

    This reminds me of those disappearing lakes. Literally hundreds of acres of water sometimes disappear overnight, into an underground cavern through sinkholes, generally caused by ground subjugation.
