i read hollyweird was celebrating the 45th screening anniversary of the world's 1st ever "summer blockbuster" so i got curious. and i have to agree, the highly acclaimed coming out party of Spielberg is warranted .

Top gun 1 (1986)

Still riveting to watch after all these years. Have to watch the sequel w/c I'm told is better.

It's a bit sad to watch val kilmer here knowing that he's seriously battling throat cancer at the moment.
