What movie did you watch recently? When & where?

Spring breakers, watched it mainly for the half naked bodies of Vanessa Hudgens and Selena Gomez. Lots of boobs and *ss bouncing around. The film kind of goes for the "artistic" value instead of a good story. Kumbaga para g abstract. I enjoyed it but it's not a film I'd recommend to friends.

My friends and I watched 47 RONIN last night.

It was a good enjoyable movie to watch given it had low reviews from critics. One thing that is stunning about this movie is the great detail of the costumes of all the characters. Downside... the "love angle" of the princess and Keanu's character didn't really cut it for me.

^ Watched it last night as well. The stunning detail also includes the houses, gardens and the view. Lupit nang backgroud. Fighting scenes was okay, much better than "The Last Samurai". Nasanay na kasi si KR sa matrix eh hehehe

The Japanese Bushido code is sick (in a great way). It sure is needed much in society.

The first objective of samurai education was to build up Character. The subtler faculties of prudence, intelligence, and dialectics were less important. Intellectual superiority was esteemed, but a samurai was essentially a man of action.

9/10 for me ang 47 Ronin

Heheh, iniisip ko pa naman intayin nalang lumabas yan sa .... dahil sa reviews. Pero mukhang yan una kong papanooring sine ngayong taon.

Watched 47 Ronin din kagabi with gf sa Greenhills Atmos Theater. Sabi nga ng gf ko, love story daw at hindi action film. Story is good, set aside lang talaga yun love story. Talagang matanda na si Keanu, same with Sanada na epic ang eyebags.
