This showed up on my recommendations a few hours after it was uploaded. I was thinking if I should post here but I can't decide which thread. I'm glad you did.
I used to fly PAL exclusively but some time in the 2000s their service just went on a downward spiral so I stopped flying PAL na. I think the only reason people are still flying with them kasi (like my relatives) direct flight nila like from SFO and LAX. I have an Aunt that is a seasoned traveller, 80s pa lang ata ayaw na sa PAL, Cathay/Northwest siya parati and she lives in SF. I never understood her but now she has her redemption hahaha.
PAL's business class is terrible compared to other airlines and that was over a decade ago, nag worsen pa pala LOL. I would have gone ballistic if that happened to me. How much is business class from SFO ng PAL $4-5k? The earphones, remote and TRAY are not working and the crew said it's like that for MOST seats. What the actual Fck? Yung lounge ang pangit pa. Based on the video it doesn't look like the staff are attentive and accommodating to them e sabi ibang airlines pag business class ka feeling mo royalty ka LOL. I don't know why he had to go to SFO pa e from ORD he could have taken other airlines.
Re stolen stuff sa luggage, thankfully it never happened to us pa pero obvious naman na MNL nawala yan like others said bakit magnanakaw mga Amerikano ng chocolates? I wonder if their luggage is expensive? I use super old and cheap luggage para hindi pag interesan but I don't go as far as others that cellophane their luggage

Netizens are taking to Twitter to share their thoughts on whether four upscale restaurants are worth paying the price for good food.
The restaurants discussed by foodies were: Dean & Deluca, BCN by Las Flores, Nono’s, and Wildflour.
The debate started when a Twitter account claimed that the brands were all fluff, adding that the quality of food doesn’t match the prices on the menu.
^^^
I have to agree.
PAL's the only carrier that has long haul direct flights from here, so that's the only main selling point for the seniors in our family. Ayaw na talaga nila ng mga stopovers because of the (possible) complications.
And we book them on J class (business) out of necessity (baka ma DVT/ stroke pa yung mga yan!)Pero yun nga, compared to other carriers, pangit yung business class ng PAL.

Alam mo naman kasi ang mga ibang Pinoy... I don't know if its just me, but medyo allergic ako sometimes sa mga ibang Pinoy I come across overseas. Andaming "feeling" minsan eh.
I used to have my luggage wrapped because the bags would last longer (kuripot ako) from the abuse they go through, and not for "security". Those bags will be out of your sight for the majority of the trip, and they think a bit of cling wrap, and a tiny lock you can smash open with a rock will deter a thief? You're not supposed to check in valuable stuff anyway.

Welcome to Chuckie’s Kitchen. It’s a vlog run by Dexter Chuck Reyes Tiongson, 28, a friendly, lanky Valenzuela-born fellow now doing the grind in a big Italian restaurant in Kansas City, Missouri. His videos are a combination cooking tutorial and, yes, reaction shots but there’s also something endearing about this Pinoy cook in a foreign land sharing a bit of his culture to his workmates, showcasing the full experience of enjoying food the Filipino way—cooking it with lots of love, a bit of improv here and there, and enjoying the results with one’s closest and dearest.
it used to be content creators on socmed share links from mainstream media to use as content
now mainstream media increasingly looks to socmed for content
