Sadly most pinoys are also mildly racist to darker skinned people and to people of african decent.

Signs and symbols have different meaning to different cultures and people. Since she is a big internet star with followers with various different ethnic views and beliefs, a diligent review of anything she plan to upload must be done before she posts it. The rising sun and even the swastika is not considered taboo in Japan.

I think pinoys are extremely racist nga White skin is considered attractive. Even babies hindi pa ligtas pag dark skinned.

Sobrang fixated ka talaga diyan sa vlogger worship mo hehe.

    Nabasa mo na ba 'to?
Even YouTube Stars With 1.4 Million Monthly Viewers Earn Less Than $17, a Year, Research Shows | Inc.com

You have to be top 3% of vloggers worldwide to earn $17k a year.

31M YouTube channels in the world. Less than a million will make the top 3%. For every RanzNiana and JaMill, thousands of Filipino Youtubers spend so much time and effort to make videos that have less than 1,000 views and 0 ad revenue.

And another point to think about is that even 10 years is a long time to stay relevant.

Not saying YouTube cannot be a platform to make money, but it's in the same vein as TV/movie celebrities - it's much less glamorous and much more difficult to make it big than it seems.

like what the guy above me says,
    those are the outliers.
just like the so-called top-notch doctors you are familiar with.
    but what about the majority?

I don't worship vloggers, it's not a job I will ever get into. I am just amazed with the amount of money that they earn just documenting their day to day lives. Even live sellers, medyo cringe pero they are raking in cash. I refuse to earn money kasi that goes against my beliefs (and I value my privacy very much)

Hindi ata kapanipaniwala na ganyan kaliit earnings nila. I love poverty p0rn so I watch small youtubers that are CDE bracket, some that literally live in the squatters area. I've seen how their lives improved in just one year and they are thankful naman. I don't think they can fake that saka ang dami naman masyado. Once they upgrade their lifestyle nawawalan na ko ng gana so on to the next small youtuber. Yung iba at 100k subs they can loan a car na or move out of their home. Malaki kasi sponsorships, I noticed even big companies tap even youtubers below 500k subs, mostly mga Mommy and family vloggers. Sa laki ng pera they earn e like Toni Fowler she earns more or less P1m a month on youtube alone, kaya in one year naka 4 na bahay at 4 na kotse. Ang dami ko pa na follow na first time lang magka kotse because of youtube and they quit their regular jobs because the money is so big

doc, kahit 100k subs lang pwede ka na mabuhay :P

Also, there are middle class doctors din naman like those that chose government practice or small hospitals. I noticed the rich doctors come from well off families to begin with and not really practicing for the money (like Dr Cutie) Si Dr APS (rip I love him) he never makes us pay even with surgery. Most of the doctors we go to don't make us pay PF, siguro they are just practicing to help people out

Pero I am sure marami youtubers diyan earn more than Dr Cutie hahah! Pero wala silang prestige :P

We sponsor vloggers so I know how much they get paid for each sponsored video. Yes malaki but not enough to sustain and raise a family if you'll only have gigs for <5 yrs like most youtubers.

Dami sa mga bahay and kotse in these videos is utang. Kasi mas dadami subs pag nagmukha silang umaasenso. Like you, bilib na bilib sa kanila because "dami nila kinikita".

So many other articles have been written about how very few YouTubers make good money. The data is there. If you don't want to believe the data, wala na tayo magagawa diyan.

Here's a more holistic view that includes merch and sponsorships as part of the income stream of YouTubers.
How Much Do YouTubers Really Make?

Interesting to note that not all YouTubers are actually able to capitalize on these other income streams. And also the quality of sponsorships really differ per country and also according to the content you stream.

Maraming other sources of financing aside from banks, pati mga in-house super luwag. Meron pang informal sources with even less requirements.
