I'm now mostly into shows that places you somewhat in the actual location, such as with Sweet Home (the high rise apartment), Attack on Titan (Paradis Island), The Silent Sea (Moon Station), Strangers from Hell (Eden Residence), and this time in a high school setting with All of Us Are Dead. It sort of attaches you into the story that you feel a kind of nostalgia once it ends.





I'm on episode 6 already. Started almost immediately when it premiered a few days ago. Although it gained a 7.7 IMDB rating, I would probably give it a 6.5 for the repetitive scenes and a few leaps of logic. Even with that though, you can still fully enjoy the series.

Speaking of Strangers from Hell, I'm just on Episode 2 and it's quite engrossing, what with the quirky characters and unusual location. It is well acted with an interesting story probably why it garnered 7.9 user rating on IMDB, a score I can go along with. It's a mystery thriller with interspersed dose of comedy, mostly character driven. I like the cinematography with it's cinematic look even as it's a TV series, much like Sweet Home. Quite unlike Alice in Borderland and All Of Us Are Dead that although shot really well somehow falls short of that cinematic oomph.





When I started watching Korean movies and TV series, I am of the impression that they have an unlimited pool of talents. Every show has different set of performers. But as I delve deeper into the Korean rabbit hole, you begin to get familiar with them and see them cast in various roles in other shows. Like Squid Game shares common performers with All of Us Are Dead and The Silent Sea, as the latter shares performers from The Extreme Job and Kingdom. One of the characters in All of Us Are Dead is from Alice in Borderland. It can get disconcerting sometimes as you still associate them with their previous characters, testament on how well they did on their last acting role.

I've been rewatching "house of cards" lately. Now i get to see a lot of connecting subplots w/c i wasn't able to pick-up before.

Iba talaga si kevin spacey. He has to be one of the best actors of this generation. Iyon nga lang he's got a terrible dark side pala.

This looks good chief and I also see good reviews on Archive 81. Will watch both of this series after finishing the penthouse.
