G*g* talaga mga taga QCPD, gusto yata ubusin lahat ng kamag-anak at mga tauhan nina Trina at Ted Failon, kaliwat kanan ang arestuhan, wala namang warrant of arrest.

I don't know if guys saw the TV footage arresting Trina's brother, ang kaso?

On DZMM earlier today, Korina Sanchez quoted one of Failon's lawyers, most likely PAO Chief Atty. Persida Acosta, on what constitutes 'obstruction of justice' as what the QCPD is accusing Failon et al.

According to her, obstruction of justice should take into consideration two things: One is the intent to deliberately mislead an official investigation into a crime, the other is the educational attainment of those involved.

The househelp have claimed that it was not their intention to mislead the investigation, because they didn't even know that the bathroom where the victim was found would be used as evidence. And, being househelp, their orientation is that everything in the household should be maintained in order, whether they are told or not; nakita nila na hindi maayos yung banyo, kaya inayos nila, since that's what they are accustomed to. Since they are of limited education, how can anyone expect them to know proper crime scene procedures and protocol (even police officers can f*ck up a crime scene big time, and those people are the ones who should know what they're doing)? It's not like crimes like this happen frequently in their household, for them to automatically know what to do when they chance upon a dead body in one of the rooms. And yes, another reason brought up was that they didn't want the youngest child to see the crime scene as it was.

Why wasn't the incident reported to the police? My take is that, of course, when you have a loved one on the brink of death, your first priority is to see to it that that person gets immediate medical attention, and collect your thoughts properly while you're at it, so that you'll be able to eventually give even a halfway decent statement to authorities with which to help in their investigation.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if the QCPD got overzealous with their actions, considering the media frenzy surrounding the incident; they're bound to pounce on the event as a chance to publicly 'redeem' themselves, especially as it involves one of their harshest critics.

Paktay sila ngayon. Mag hungang na PNP, warrantless arrest! What?

Tyak babalikan sila ni Ted after nito.

This just gives Ted Failon all the more reason to pounce back at the QCPD when the right time comes.
