June 25th, 2015 10:35 PM #1901My wife got the pre facelift AWD cx-5 last year, for me at that time the price difference between the 2.0 and 2.5 was worth it ( plus at that time the AWD only has the 50% down 0% interest ). This time, looking at their online brochure the AWD differs only on the engine, transmission, wheel size, sunroof, BOSE sound system and keyless entry. Parang mas sulit si 2016 2.0, ang dami panu nadagdag sa kanya compared to the AWD.

if you're concerned that the 2.0 variant is lacking in horses, i think you should go for the 2.5 if money is not an issue

No doubt the CX5 is cheaper to buy and run. But the FXT is much faster and much more spacious, and to me, more good looking.
The CX5 2.5 on the other hand isn't all that convincing over the 2.0, save for the rims. I'd get a 2.0 CX5 instead, then look for 2.5 rims. Only thing I don't like with the 2.0 is that its long second gear means low-speed overtaking is awkward, but if you overtake from 60 kph upwards, it's peppy enough.

Mazda CX-5 looks better than the Subaru Forester. The old Subaru Forester looked better than the current one.
