I have a spare pair of slippers inside my M3. I use it primarily as a dry slipper when stepping inside my car during rainy days [emoji57]

Upgrades? You can only do so much with Mazda diesel. Engine and suspension is still stock. Better sway bar, Strutbar and just like what jut always say, upgrade the driver. [emoji5]

Local customers report almost no change in fuel consumption but increased in power.

Those abroad, i.e., USA, has data in his fuel consumption which I find to be quite impressive.

Mazda 6 Sport MT (Mazda 6) | Fuelly

Regarding warranty, mine was connected to their laptop and the technician didn't see a thing.

I have the Dyno results, if ever you're curious.

In terms of fuel consumption, I am able to reach 25 km/L. Prior to OVT, I can only get a maximum of 23 km/L. I might have a slight advantage in terms of weight since the Mazda 6 is lighter than the CX-5.

Cons? You are limited with the safety. OVT won't push their tuned cars beyond what is safe to operate. In other words, you won't get the maximum power output if you'll be shortening the life of your car. If I'm not mistaken, there wasn't any report for engine breakdown as far as OVT is concerned.

OVT is known abroad, particularly in the US.

Take your time to read, that's what I did. At the very least, you won't encounter any horror stories about their tune unlike other shops where allegedly they have a smoking engine besides you while encouraging you to avail of their services.

It took me exactly 6 months! I've wasted a lot of fun and fuel for such a long time.

You can't blame me, I'm a slow reader and comprehension takes a while for me before it sets in.

For street use yeah the sooner the better talaga and yeah there is a significant savings in fuel. To further influence you hehe! You could recover the cost of OVT in 3-5 years depending on how often you use your car.

Ako kasi, i just wanted to maximize the stock tuning plus performance familiarity before I upgraded to find out if the difference matters much. And yeah it really matters. Other than the dyno results, my reference is performance on the track.

Regarding the electronic driving assistance, for me there's a sweet spot. For everyday street use it's very helpful. For track, yeah initially it is also useful however you will outgrow it (if you track regularly) because it became restrictive for me especially in the understeer aspect, reaction/response invasion because the electronic assistance is programmed for street use.

Ano ba ginagawa ng OVT sa engine? Baka may detailed explanation kayo?

OVT tweaks the software w/ Mazda set limits. Think alterations on RTW clothing to make em feel bespoke. You can dictate your tune & fuel wishes. Economy or power or both.
Nope, OVT won't turn compression up to Eurospec 14:1. Ours are the North American 13:1 meant for regular petrol.
On iStop, doubt OVT would touch those settings, even if they could.
