Btw, there's no local shop for the rear wiper? Also, where can I buy the Panasonic battery? Would you also recommend batt from Amaron?

You can replace the rear w/ a similarly sized refill. I've yet to change the rear on the 3. With other cars, I just used refills.
On batts, people have had good & bad reviews on just about any batt brand out there. So far, the Panasonics I've had have lived up to expectations. They are commonly available w/ dealers scattered nationwide. Never tried Amaron, very few carry em in our area....a hassle should there be warranty claims....but have heard people swear by em.

Sound deadening muffles, but adds weight. Something Mazda decided to drop.

The same thing happened to me. But thankfully the rim wasn't damaged. How much did it cost you?

And How far did you drive with the donut in front? Because my bf said to use the spare at the back for safety and to prevent damaging the.. Uhmm..I forgot.. Kase the front wheels daw are doing the most work so, if it's not pantay then it can damage something..

It's a matter of perspective. I always look for opportunities and see the other side of the coin. I admit that this is not an easy thing to do. I'm still "a work in progress"...

Thankfully, the rim is covered by the insurance. What is surprising is that, the insurance will also replace the ripped tire. The tire is costly, priced at 20,000 Pesos each. Casa is much higher which is about 30,000 Pesos each.

I wasn't expecting that CGIC, the insurance company, will replace the tire so I already bought two tires. Again, this is also an opportunity for me to save on cost as the price might go up next year. As much as possible, I replace all four tires at the same time.

To answer your question, I have to pay for about 11,000 Pesos for my participation fee. I traveled for about 60 km with a maximum speed of 80 kph.

Let me use this opportunity to say, "Thank you" to *Wh1stler for giving me a huge, huge discount for my two tires.

Yes, I have no choice since I have to bring it from Bulacan to Pampanga. Plus, I was looking for a tire shop that can replace it. Not all shops can replace a 19 inch tire.

The car came stock with Bridgestone Turanza. I opted for the same brand. I wanted to become familiar with it, too familiar in such a way that I know exactly how it performs in corners in wet and dry condition. This will be my basis if I have improved my driving skills. Once I am able to push it to the limits, that is the time I will consider replacing it with other brands together with the brakes.

I'm not sure if that is his main business. I didn't even know about it. It was a coincidence that I mentioned it and he offered to help me. I am truly grateful for it.

    I see.

Which do think is better, different brand of tires for front and rear (ex. front the same brand, rear the same brand) with the same speed rating, meaning all Vs

    Or

The same brand and model with different speed ratings? - 2 front tires 92H, rear 92V

I was actually asking about the speed ratings at the other thread. Hmm Why would you want to slap in mixed brands?

I prefer the same brand with identical model. This gives you the assurance that the car will behave exactly the way you want it.

If a tire is rated to reduce noice and increase comfort, using different model might compromise it.

Would you use different shoes on each foot? I guess not.

Same with Archerfish, try to use the same model tires across all 4 wheels. If budget is limited, maybe similar rating and tire type across all four but the tires across each axle should be the same.

Speed rating is not that important unless you drive your car to the limit most of the time.

If you're using touring tires, then it would be best to stick to that type of tires than putting sport tires on the front and touring tires on the rear.
