When I let go of the brake and am in Drive, it doesn't accelerate as much as it usually does. Kind of feels like the brake is lightly applied? It feels heavy. Also, when on speeds at around 40-50km/h, when I let go of the gas, it decelerates really quickly, more than usual. I can really feel some sort of braking feeling. Is there something with the brake pad? I'm really confused.
This is a very interesting case. Was the car parked in the garage for a very long time before you felt this issue?

Not really. I went out of the country for 2 weeks in July but I had my PMS at the end of the month. Whenever I park, I use the handbrake along with setting it to P. Sir Travajante advised that it could cause rust or dust to get trapped in the handbrake. I've always been doing it, sort of like a habit already.

Haven't been using sport mode in a while. Also checked the tire pressure. Went to the gas station and had the tires checked and put some air in them, so that wasn't the issue.

2weeks on eBrake...Bet your running w/ rear brakes engaged. Check rear wheel temps....significantly hotter than fronts?

Heading to the casa right now. We will soon find out. I hope it's nothing major.

Visited the casa earlier. Took a test drive with the technician and explained to him my predicament. He suspects it's the rust in the rotors so he applied their brake cleaner/fluid. I left it at the casa for washing. Will get it later and will see if all is well and good after.

Seriously? That was his diagnosis? Why don't you ask him, or better yet a more qualified technician, to check the caliper sliding/guide pins? It is most likely rust formation and/or loss of lubrication on the sleeves. Have the rear ones checked first because those would have been semi-stuck on engage mode if it was indeed rusted sleeves. Did you go through floods before you left your car for two weeks?

No, no floods. Just washing once every two weeks or so. I'm still here. Will test it out before leaving.

Good luck bro. Simpleng issue lang yan sa marunong. Don't let them babble their way to making you think it is any bigger than it really is. Caliper sleeve and pin cleaning and lubrication lang yan most likely.

^If the HU has pre-outs (RCA sockets) then yes.

I'm not sure if the head unit of Mazda 3 is identical to CX-5, but *Nelson de Leon installed a subwoofer though I'm not sure about the amplifier.

Or use Hi-Lo converters if there is none. Just tap into the left and right speaker wires with that method. Most branded amplifiers provide adapters for direct connection to speaker wires as well.

I think Hi-Lo converters is the friendliest route to go in installing a subwoofer and amplifier. Thanks sir.

Update. After the brake cleaner/fluid was applied on the rotors, that seems to have fixed it. Much smoother now from the first gear from a complete stop.

I added a sub with built-in amp na. It's made by Infiniti and it has passive radiators! Hehe! It has both line input and speaker line input (I used this connection because HU has no RCA output). I got my signal input from the OEM sub at the reserve tire.

Found this DIY guide that you might find useful. I bought this adjustable line output converter (PAC SNI-35) from amazon years ago when I was planning to install a small sub in the 2007 Mazda3. Might as well use this with my new M3.

There is a guy, whose "problem" I'd like to have, who has a BMW he seldom uses and a Mazda 3 2016 he wants to sell because it literally sits on his garage.

I wonder how many cars the guy has?
