I'm not a member though. I have already tried to apply, but realized, I even don't have time to do a selfie pic with my cx-5 for the application requirements...my car club days are long over since founding clubmazda3, i guess.

OT: i deactivated my account 6 yrs ago. After seeing how FB is now (from my wife's acct) with all the ads and shared videos, it's so different from before. It doesn't want to make me reactivate my acct even if it means I can't join the MZ3 club hehe.

Maybe you just have to filter your feed and/or your friends.

I don't frequently encounter posts like that on my FB/IG feed.

Could also be an age thing - I don't know anyone my age without at least an FB or IG account, but my parents for example both don't have social media accounts.
