I called Motolite Express just to verify if they do not sell batteries for iStop. They do not sell it. Sa casa lang daw nagbebenta.
Just wondering if the Japan and Malaysia variants have differences externally. So that one look, you'd know if it's from Japan or Malaysia. Maybe the mags have different designs?
Haven't you guys noticed the the left headlight is too much biased sa right?
Try turning sa stoplight with a aluminum truck van or bus in front of you. Kapag abante nila, (habang nakahinto ka) yun pinaka-"focus" ng left headlight pumupunta sa right.
I'm planning to manually adjust mine a little bit to the left but I'm worried it might affect the auto dimming feature of the high beam.

And iStop relearning? Check this DIY:
1. Warm the engine up. Turn everything electrical off that you can - radio, A/C, lights, chargers, etc. Bring it close to electrical load.
2. Switch the ignition off.
3. Switch ignition to on but dont start engine. Long-press the i-stop OFF switch for 3 s within 5 s after switching the ignition ON.
4. Start the engine.
5. Press the i-stop OFF switch. Verify that the i-stop indicator light (green) flashes and stays flashing. If it does not flash, go back to Step 3.
6. Allow the engine to idle for 10 minutes, or until the i-stop indicator light (green) turns off. Mine didnt stop flashing so after 10 minutes or so i just went to step 7.
7. Switch the engine off. Wait a minute or two.
8. Start the engine. Go for a drive, and check that the i-stop system operates normally. Those with i-stop will know that you may need to drive a mile or two until it activates. Remember that i-stop will not operate when (a) for diesels...when engines are in DPF regen mode, and (b) in those other conditions stated in the manual. Also, if a new battery was fitted, it may take some time for the new battery to fully charge up before i-stop will start working. Go for a decent drive so it gets fully charged.
9. If i-stop operates as normal, reset it was a success.

What if masira yung battery sa house or nasa labas tayo and only Mazda has the iStop battery, what do we do? Can we jump start it just like any ordinary battery?
Jumpstarting a dead batt on a vehicle w/ Start/Stop system shouldn't be any different from 1 w/o...Please verify w/ your dealership this procedure...
1. + discharged to + support
2. - support to - discharged or body ground to body ground.
This sequence ensures that the battery sensor isn't bridged & the battery data won't be registered by the sensor while charging.
3. Start & fast idle support vehicle or activate your jumpstart pack.
4. Start discharged car
5. Before disconnecting jumpers, turn on lights, rear defroster, highest A/C for 10sec to prevent voltage surge
6. Remove in this order:support ground, discharge ground, support +, discharged +
After batt replacement, go thru the iStop relearning procedure.
